The Receptionists were welcoming, always eager to help. They were available always. There is a big elevator that can take more than 10 people at a time. The hotel is located in town. It's 30 minutes walk from the center where most expensive hotels are located such as Grand Magherita, Riverside majestic and Sheraton hotels. If you use Grab, you'll pay 5 Ringgit form Dehome Boutique hotel to Grand Magherita hotel. I walked from Dehome Boutique hotel to the Waterfront. It took me 42 minutes. The waterfront is 12 minutes from Magherita Riverside majestic Hotel. From Dehome Boutique hotel to the Borneo Convention center will take you 18 Ringgit by Grab and 30 Ringgit by Taxi. The people are friendly and food is readily available and affordable. I ate at Dehome Boutique hotel. With 18 Ringgit you LL have a fulfilling meal that is so tasty. Room service is free too.

The lighting in the room could be made brighter for someone who wants to study otherwise it's ok for sleeping and resting. The TV did not come in when I pressed the remote control.

Everything is good about the hotel. Spacious rooms and housekeeping is doing a good job 👍🏻 Even the cafe is better than expected, the food and prices is reasonable 😉

Kind of far from other halal restaurants aside from the lobby cafe and attractions place so need a car to go around anywhere. But e-hailing is quite cheap & easy so shouldn't be a problem.

Spacious, clean room with nice touches (little plant in bathroom, tissues, slippers). Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast choices (continental & warm local), all vegetarian. Location may be a little far for walking to the waterfront and Old/New Chinatown (30-45mins), easier to go by grab. We picked DeHome intentionally since we stayed earlier at the waterfront, so didn’t mind the location.

Rooms to the street are brighter with daylight but can be noisy at night. Staff very kindly accommodated for us to move into a room on the other/quieter side.

The room was really clean, comfy bed, AC and a hot shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was delicious! Definitely made the mornings easy. It was nice and quiet while still being close to downtown. If you want to get to the waterfront, you can take a Grab from the hotel for about $2 USD. The laundry service was so efficient! Well priced and they got my clothes back to me the very same day. Really appreciated this while I was traveling in Kuching for 10 days.

Location was fine for us as we got taxis everywhere through the Grab app. Triple deluxe room had a double bed and single bed and was spacious. The beds were comfy and facilities clean. I particularly liked the luggage scale at reception. We didn’t try the breakfast

The room could have benefitted from an extra bedside cabinet - we had to share a single one. Front desk staff were hit and miss. Some tried to be helpful

Everything is ok, the hotel room is very clean and the staff is also very friendly. The breakfast is also ok even though there are not many options, it is the first time to stay here. It is highly recommended. I will stay here again if I have another trip.

Cleanliness of the room, especially the toilet and shower room. The hotel is located at the quieter area of the city. Bed is comfortable too. The AC temp is alright for a good night sleep.

Lack of facilities, eg , gym and swimming pool. And there's no fridge in the room. For the similar price, I can get rooms with the above-mentioned facilities. The location is also a bit out of the city centre, but can move around easily via Grab in Kuching.

Had been staying in this hotel numerous times since 2019 (was called Dorsett Hotel back then). Hotel room was clean, comfortable bed as usual.

The service of front office staff not as good as before. Staff especially those non-Chinese (not a racist related review) front office staff. Been ignorance of our requests such as extra pillows, check out time extension. With Kuching as my regular visit city, I doubt I would be considering this property again.

The room and all the services were fine. The restaurant was good enough and the staff at reception exceptionally helpful at all times. they helped me with taxis which were necessary considering the distance to the town center

The problem was a room without a window which I didn't realise I had booked; I thought it would have daylight but that the window just couldn't be opened.
