The villa is not far from Mersing jetty and is very clean and quiet. Our room was very spacious, super clean, the bathroom had everything we needed (shampoo, soap, warm water). The beds were very comfortable. There is a fan and an aircon in the room. The aircon is working perfectly. Our host, Kam, was very very nice. He drove us everywhere and picked us up again free of charge: after we arrived in Mersing, when we needed to eat, when we went island hopping, when we departed. Kam speaks English very well.

Everything was very very good.

The place is very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and beddings soft to the touch. The quilt cover was so soft and comfortable that I even asked him the material that he used. He gave his input willingly. The host is very friendly and thoughtful. I had a question about booking a parking lot near the jetty and asked for his opinion, surprisingly he took time to clarify personally that such booking is not necessary. That saved me from spending unnecc expense. He gave ideas on where to eat around the area too.

We had a car so moving around town was relatively easy. But I anticipate that non drivers may have difficulty in finding food.

Kam is a superb and kind host. We stayed just one night as we were catching the ferry to Tioman in the morning. I was, for some reason, expecting the accommodation to be walkable from town however it was a few minutes drive away. This was no problem at all as Kam was happy to collect us from town then later drop us in town for dinner. In the morning he dropped us at the ferry terminal. Really outstanding. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable.

The en-suite bathroom door could be a bit more soundproofed. The room could maybe do with some softer lighting.

I have never seen such an initiative host before. It was such a wonderful experience booking Kam's place. Kam is so so so amazing, kind and generous. He is so thoughtful. He knew i was coming from Singapore and since i did not book the bus to mersing yet he suggested to me that there are buses directly to SG and he came to fetch us from the bus terminal, drove us to supermarket and jetty. The house is super clean and so systematic everything is well explained and written clearly. we bought icecubes and kam passed us styrofoam box to put our ice in too. I stayed here before going to tioman when i came back to mersing to take bus to go SG i had 4hrs to kill and just asked Kam if he has any drivers to suggest he searched on that but since it was too ex i asked him a favour if i could just come and be at his public area till my bus timing. he said no problem and came to fetch us again and brought us to buy dinner and even gave us towels to shower before our bus and sent us to bus terminal. I was so touched and shocked of his kindness. I will def book again. Thank you so much Kam, truly enjoyed my stay.

there wasnt toothbrush and tooth paste, so please buy before going. It is normal that there will be mosquitos at the public area so do go prepared to be bitten.

Very clean accommodation with all that is needed for a night stay on the way to Pulau Tioman. We, a family of 4, arrived at 11 pm and the host was extremely accommodating. We had the occasion to taste fruit from his own garden/orchard which were more flavourful that the market ones. There is filtered water, coffee and tea available for a nice, layed back breakfast in the common area. The host Kam offered to give us a ride to the Mersing Jetty and was very hepful with all the questions we had. All in all, a great stay that we highly recommend.

Book now, think later. As all the other reviews say, Kam is a super host. He will happily go out of his way to pick you up from the bus stop, drop you off at the jetty, take you to the best restaurants in town, feed you papaya and guava from his own trees and offer good conversation through it all. It’s worth booking for Kams hospitality alone. The room itself is spacious, well air conditioned and has a comfy bed. We had the best nights sleep of our trip here. There is a good shared kitchen with all basic supplies, water filter, tea coffee etc. Cannot recommend enough.

The place is much bigger than expected. Lots of seating areas indoors and outdoors. The bedroom is spacious and has everything you need - maybe an extra chair to place clothing on near the bathroom would be helpful. It is super clean! Floors, bedding, bathroom - everything was spotless! The host and the team/family there are super friendly. They are easy to talk to and helpful if you have questions or need anything. Was easy to get to Mersing jetty the next morning on my way to Tioman.

I loved everything abt this place! The room was spacious, linens were clean. They definitely met my expectations with their squeaky clean toilets. I even checked the common toilets and those were clean as well. If there's one thing that deserves a special mention that would be the host Mr. Kam. He's an exceptional host, very helpful in every sense of the word! It's always the little things that leave a lasting impression on someone. We can't thank you enough!

There were some construction stuff outside but that's understandable since the host is always doing some work on the house

The room (we stayed in Room F) and ensuite were clean. Mr Kam clearly thought about the people who will be staying in the room itself. There were light touches that I appreciated - the mosquito repellant machine thingy, the extra roll of toilet roll anticipating the current will finish (this is not always a given), floor mats (also not a given these days), even has the kiblat direction marked! Toilet has a separator for dry area and wet (shower) area. All windows have black out curtains.

The living room area was a little dusty, but it was due to reno works going on and Mr Kam was apologetic about. Room itself was clean.

Our host Kam was friendly and helpful. He was always available via WhatsApp and even allowed us to use the washing machine. He also offered a transportation service to the ferry, which was convenient. The room was clean and spacious, providing ample space for us. Besides the bed it had a nightstand, air conditioning, and a desk with two chairs. This accommodation might be ideal for groups as it offers multiple rooms and plenty of common areas, including a shared kitchen.

The large room could be more cozy and better furnished as it felt quite empty. The location is a bit secluded, although Kam offered to drive us to a restaurant.
