Location wise as in very near to the bridge. It made it easier for me since i need to travel in and out the Penang island often.

The area around the building looks kinda creepy especially the empty building right beside the hotel. Also, you might need to add the number of bag trolleys. I’ve requested a baggage pickup from my room before check out, waited for almost 30 minutes but no one came. So, I ended up bringing all my bags down to the car myself. As for breakfast timing, you might want to review the timing since the breakfast time is from 6am till 10am which i think it is very early. Maybe 7am-11am would be great?

The hotel was very nearby to almost everything. It has adjacent mall into the hotel and also very close to the KTM Station / Port. The hotel location is also very close to the exit of Highways if you want to go to the Penang Island and/or to the Northern part. The breakfast spread was okay, not many choices but still it was fulfilling. Overall experience was nice!

I hate that the hall / corridor of where I'm staying smells like cockroaches. I dont know how to describe it but it has disturbing smell of cockroaches.

This is my second time staying here with my family. We stayed in the Superior King Room. The room is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large bathroom that even has a bathtub. All the amenities were in good working condition. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious. The parking facility was satisfactory. The pool was a favorite among the children. Although it wasn't very big, it had a kid-friendly slide. The hotel is within walking distance of Megamall Penang, which was convenient for finding places to eat, although many shops were already closed.

There are not many disadvantages, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The receptionists were a bit slow on both occasions I visited. On the 8th floor, the carpet outside had a slightly musty smell that could be addressed. Additionally, the roti jala served during tea time was a bit too thick and could be improved.

The room is spacious The counter staff friendly, polites and accomodating I actually arrived early to the hotel around 12.30 pm, but was allowed for early check in because our room was ready..and for that i was very thankful since it was a long journey from KL.. . The breakfast was excellent.. everything was delicious and prepared heartily.. even though the choices and varieties were moderate but the taste was super good.. i loooove it soo much..very Penang style food.. hehe.. The towels provided were clean and fluffy and smelled really good..i was totally happy with the towels The room is complete with a kettle and iron and iron board and a small fridge...so it was very convenient to use..

The pillows provided are not fluffy enough.. so its not really supporting ur head when sleeping The shower and shampoo were provided in a little bottle and it was not replaced on the second day.. I would be very happy if the toilet was prepared with a water hose instead of a bidet

Playground in the cafe/restaurant, its not appropriate n dangerous. I have complained to the General Manager John on my previous trip last year n still no changes. To the owner of the hotel, if any of your children or children of your relatives or friends happen to run out of the playground without looking & run into some1 holding a hot drinks or food, what happen next n who is at fault? Please consider removing it n its for the safety of small children. You have a nice, clean hotel, good n friendly staff mayb you can get a good rating fm Booking.com or Agoda etc. I will definately stay at your hotel in my next trip. This is my opinion n I m sure some guests have seen it but they don't bother. Tq you

Taking the package with breakfast is totally worth it. There are a lot of choices. The pantry is well filled. It is so nice. It is also easy to order food from our room. And the fish n chips are so delicious. All the staff are polite and help a lot.

The coffee was great but wish there is a latte. The coffee machine filter in the room a bit dirty. But I dont mind. We run it several times to clean up since we do own our coffee machine at home. The instructions are a bit lacking. I’m a bit confused about where the swimming pool was. Essentially we need to walk into the gym area. And the playground was open 2pm onwards. If it is available during breakfast it would be great. It does say they playgrounds is in the cafe but since it is wayyy back. I didn’t realise it was there. I wish there are more signboards of where things were.

The 4-bedroom suite with en-suite bathrooms were very spacious and convenient for a family of 7 adults and 1 child. We were able to dine and enjoy playing board games together in the same space without having to move out from our suite. Thank u Ixora!! 👍

1) One of the bathroom sinks was clogged and water pressure was so low that I did not enjoy the shower 😢. 2) Despite the living room being spacious, there is no seating area (sofas) to watch TV or reading/resting. Maybe the hotel would like to consider to put in sofa sets for the convenience of guests. 3) We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not opened throughout our 3 day stay because the water was really dirty and not suitable for swimming.

Room- clean and comfortable Breakfast- although food is sufficient, can have a few more varieties. Just before I checked out at 12.30pm, 2 men came to fumigate the bathroom. The hotel looks seriously and takes action about the complaints of some guests who complained about cockroaches and smell. I nearly wanted to change my booking to another hotel when I read the unpleasant reviews but now after staying I can prove them wrong.

The walls of the shower cubicle need more scrubbing of the tile grids.

i was very upset as the booking apps change my date of booking on the day i arrive at the hotel .. they sent me an email at 2 pm on that day which is i already line up to check in.. the worst day i felt.. luckily,the manager manage to offer me another room and cancel the date that the booking.com gave to me

Checked in at around 2pm, only 1 reception staff handling check-in and parking ticket validation thus delaying a bit check-in process. Hotel car park is convenient, there's a security guard at exit. My validated parking tickets 2 times not working, guard helped me to manually lift. Reception staff please check why tickets not really validated. Location is strategic, besides a shopping mall and main road. Room is clean. Toilet is clean but there is no hand-held bidet, please consider to install this. Just small kid swimming pool and another small sized pool. Luckily not crowded when my kids went there.
