Have a kids pool and easy to access beach. Beautiful view from room

Breakfast buffet not really nice. & disappointed with plate , soup bowl , glass have a dust .little dirty. Need to wiping please

This hotel is perfect for families with young children as it offers plenty of facilities and activities. One of the main attractions for me was the large swimming pool. It’s one of the biggest hotel pools I’ve visited, with a depth of 2.5 meters! The hotel room was clean and comfortable. If you have a bigger budget, I recommend choosing a seaview room, as the "garden view" room I stayed in only offered a view of building rooftops. The private beach was clean and peaceful, with options for water sports. The hotel also organizes fun activities for guests, such as poolside Zumba and family games. There's even a petting zoo in the lobby, which the kids loved. The surrounding area looks beautiful at night, with plenty of lights. As for breakfast, there were many delicious options to choose from. Overall, I found this hotel to be very enjoyable and would definitely choose it again for a weekend getaway with family and friends.

There’s nothing to complain about, as overall, this hotel fully met my needs.

The seafront view room is beautiful. The resort environment is calm n beautiful. Outside area was clean. Their swimming pool n private beach is nice too. Will definitely choose to stay here again in future.

The room was dusty and can see some ants roaming here and there on the tables n shelf. Water flow in bathroom sink was very slow as though it was clogged. Could have maintain their cleanliness inside rooms as how it was maintain outside. Can upgrade their TV, it was the very old TV with only +-5 channels. It was disappointing that the Iron and hairdryer were not functioning.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Helped me for room upgrades and managed to keep our 4 rooms on the same floor. Good food. The beach was amazing, very clean; water so clear that I can see where I'm stepping to. Not a fan of toilet bidet so next time I'll ask first.

Breakfast spread was just nice for us. In room dining was good but for both dining experiences, food taste could be better and there should be more choices on the in room menu. Need better wheelchair accessibility to the beach, it was quite a labour to bring my mother to the beach because there was no specific pathway for wheelchair. Grass doesn't really accommodate wheelchair movement.

All the staff. Friendly and courteous. Especially the front office staff and bellman.Special mention goes to Duty Manager Mr.Azree, who goes all out and ensuring my stay in Thistle is a pleasant one. Will be back because of all these remarkable and outstanding staff. Breakfast was great, too. Keep it up.!!

1. Location: Secluded location and distance away from other establishments like shopping centre, street food and other external restaurants/bars etc. 2. Beach has room for improvement but sea water is clean. 3. Day trippers are allowed to facilitate the beach and pool/shower facilities. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) 4. Do checks on the expiry date on food items sold at your convenience store. ( I bought a packet of biscuits which had its expiry date of 1 year ago.!!!!

Close to shops and eating places and places of attraction, ample parking, as always a fantastic view of the ocean, large and comfortable room, extensive swimming pool options for kids and adults, right next to the beach, fairly good breakfast spread, fairly good dinner choices at reasonable price, very friendly and helpful staff, reception staff was kind enough and gave a free upgrade to a suite.

Hope there will be ongoing upgrading refurbishment.

Overall liked everything in this hotel. the pool was big. they had many Merdeka activities. Breakfast was superb. Staffs were very polite. they had their private beach. would come back here again.

just the furniture's in the room have to be renewed and the toilet. Toilet with shower inside the bath tub is not suitable for small kids, pregnant ladies and elderly people. we stayed in the family room. the lower deck of the double decker bed has to be re-done as it is very low and dusty.

Thistle has been always our favourite resort for quick family getaway from Kuala Lumpur City. While the hotel's prime location, inviting swimming pools, and scenic beachfront remain noteworthy, the aging facilities detract from the overall experience. What was once a great establishment now shows signs of wear and tear, impacting the comfort and ambiance. Despite these shortcomings, the captivating surroundings might still make it a viable choice for those who prioritize the destination over the accommodation itself.

This hotel's charm is overshadowed by aging facilities that diminish the overall comfort. The noisy air conditioners and fans disrupt tranquility, the slippery walkways near the kids' pool pose safety concerns, and the toilets often require a second flush. While it may have potential, addressing these issues would significantly enhance the guest experience.

My very first time here.Atfirst, I wasn't sure about the resort. I booked for 3 nights. I changed it a few days before I travelled.When I got here,everything was so perfect. Atmosphere, helpful staff,are so polite,friendly,helpful smiling face.I came very close with manager who got sence of humour,staff call norain,Nisha from bar.Making my stayed very homely..all staffs are so well respected and friendly.
