Stayed in Malta for a short weekend stay. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The reception area was small but inviting. The rooms were very spacious, clean and modern. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is located near the busy nightlife of Paceville but the hotel itself is hidden away on a quiet street. Didn’t manage to go in the indoor pool as I forgot to bring swimming shorts with me, but from what I saw it looked very luxurious.

The view out of my window was very underwhelming as it was just facing other hotel rooms and I couldn’t see anything of the city.

- Room was lovely and clean, facilities all modern, decor was really nice. - Staff were really friendly, stopped for 8 nights, room was cleaned regularly by housekeeping - Shower facilities were really good!

Only reason it doesn't get a 10 is the weird deposit (30 euro a night!) Never had that before in a hotel it's usually a flat rate rather than per day.

Breakfast is really really good and cheap! The staff are very friendly and helpful everywhere in the hotel. Location is great, right beside St Julian's but just far away for the night time noise not to be an issue.

Shower temperature constantly changed by itself. Air con needed to be on 24/7 for it to actually cool the room. The sound proofing from outside is fine. But internally is terrible. I could hear full conversations from the hall/room next to me aswell as coughing/tv etc

The staff were outstanding - the degree of personalized customer service was exceptional! The hotel in general and the room was impeccably clean, quiet, friendly and welcoming. The amenities were first class, from the pools, gym, lounge, bathrobes, etc, and all provided for a complete and comfortable stay. The location was perfect, quiet, with a view, easy access to cafes, restaurants, bus stops, shopping, etc. I have already recommended this hotel to many friends and would definitely stay here again in the future!

I can't think of anything - my experience was beyond my expectations!

It is modern, clean, and close to the restaurants and bus station. I love that the the room is quiet so I managed to sleep well. They also have the gym and the rooftop and indoor pools which I used. However, they advertised them as heated but they are not as warm as I would have expected. The staff in the reception and restaurant are lovely.

We liked everything! The facility, staff, restaurant, room, location - beyond our expectation. Everything was clean, the breakfast was amazing, fresh and there was a lot of food to choose from. Rooms were big and comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location was amazing, the bus station is 3mins of walking, as well as the nearest supermarket (if needed).

Everything was really nice, except the pillows. They were a bit lighter for our preference, but each of us had 2, so you can make it work really well. But everything else was impeccable.

There was a deposit charged when we arrived that we were not informed of prior to stay, we were there from Sunday to Friday so we were charged 150 which was a big surprise. We were told it would be refunded when we leave or we could get refreshments from the bar or restaurant and it would be deducted from the 150. Just found it strange that we didn't know about it beforehand.

The hotel is lovely and new, The rooms are a great size and the beds and bedding are super comfortable. The hotel staff were lovely and left a special gift for my husband - who's birthday we were celebrating. The pool area on the top is fantastic and there is a bar service available to the loungers. There was cold water and ice available in the hallway on each floor. Our room had a mini fridge, nespresso machine and a selection of teas.

Our shower drain was smelly when we first arrived but we talked to the staff and it was cleaned the next day, we had no further issues.

I'm not used to rooms with that size and only one window. But that's not able to be changed now. For business trips where you don't stay long in the room it's good. but for families who might want to spend time in the room, a bit less.

You can tell this is a new hotel as everything is clean, tidy, and very modern. There are some great features such as the rooftop pool which is really nice as the pool is heated and towels are provided , there is also an indoor pool and gym ! Our room was nice but was missing a cosy feel, it needed more wardrobe space, and some sort of dressing table as no where to put your stuff as such ! But for a short break this was all workable. They provide a variety of pillows to suit each persons needs and the bed and shower was really comfortable! Another great feature is that they provide free filtered water machines found on every floor. The breakfast was decent for the value you pay. The breakfast area is again modern with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff rate friendly and helpful.

Only major downfall is that the cleaners do not clean the room properly. E.g we had dirty plates for 3 days until we had to ask to take them away. The balcony is very very small and our view was a construction building. On the weekend the hotel was very loud. I could hear loud music and people shouting (drunk ) till 6am in the morning on some nights. I guess this is the nature of the location of the hotel. Not the hotel fault of course!! If this is your thing, then the main strip is minutes away. I think if I was to return to malta I would stay in another location next time. Be happy to stay at a Marriott again.
