Everything was amazing: - the room was clean and greatly furnished. I had enough space to place all my belongings. - there is a coffee machine in the room with good capsules (nespresso). Tea kettle is available upon request, water is available in the lobby and you can take it to the room - the pool: I checked once and it seemed a bit small but I didn’t really use it so cannot rate it anyhow - the staff: amazing ladies Alma and Biljana. Positive, friendly, simply the best. Big thank you to both of them as well as the cleaning guys who were very polite and did their job very well. - the breakfast: fine and has enough options. You can also take fruits to your room. - the location: in the middle of the nightlife but on a quiet street. 15 min taxi drive from the airport

Kind advice to the management of the hotel to instruct the male receptionist from Albania not to treat the guests by their nationality. The international’s hotel staff should be out of politics and not judge the guests by their passport.

Our recent stay at this apartment in St. Julian's left me absolutely thrilled, and I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with the experience. From start to finish, this accommodation exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, I have to commend the receptionists at this establishment. Never in my life have I encountered such a friendly, courteous, and efficient team. Whether it was the morning shift or the two receptionists on the afternoon-night shift, their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome. Their professionalism was remarkable and set the tone for an outstanding stay. The hotel itself was not only impeccably clean but also brand new, as it has recently opened its doors to guests. While there were a few minor details that the manager was still working on, it was evident that the commitment to excellence was at the forefront. I have no doubt that as time goes on, they will continue to enhance the guest experience. One standout feature of the hotel, in our opinion, was the rooftop pool. With a bar at your service and breathtaking views, it quickly became a favorite spot during our stay. Whether it was basking in the sun or enjoying a refreshing cocktail while taking in the scenery, it added an extra layer of luxury to our time at the hotel. The combination of these exceptional elements - the welcoming and efficient staff, the cleanliness, and the promising newness of the hotel - made our stay in St. Julian's truly memorable.

My recent stay at this hotel in St. Julian's left a positive impression overall. However, it's worth noting a couple of minor critiques to provide a well-rounded review. Our room, although beautifully appointed and comfortable, had one drawback. There was a connecting door to the adjacent room, which, while securely locked, did impact our sense of privacy. We could hear every sound and conversation from the neighboring couple, which was less than ideal. Another minor concern was the noise level at night, which is somewhat to be expected in an area known for its nightlife. The hotel is in a lively part of town, and as a result, there was some late-night revelry. However, this was mostly resolved by simply closing the balcony door, which effectively dampened most of the outside noise.

We went for a weekend holiday in February with a friend, and I can't emphasise enough how perfect it was! All of the staff we met made us feel welcome and had some lovely chats too! Our room was spotless, the pillows were super soft and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool (which was heated), as well as the gym. The breakfast had a good selection with english breakfast and fresh pastry, vegetables and fruit. I'm vegetarian, but still had a lot of choices! The hotel is near a busy party/shopping area, but on a quiet street, so it was really convenient for going out and still had a good sleep after.

Overall, a fantastic hotel which I would definitely recommend. Firstly, the staff were really welcoming and lovely; big shout out to Albemy and Vanessa who were really friendly and helped me with any questions / requests I had. The hotel (and room) were incredibly clean and the rooms modern. Breakfast was decent with a fair range of options (eggs, sausages, yogurt, cereal etc). A great place to stay. Location was fantastic, close to everything (especially transport!).

Not the hotel's fault, just the noise of the street could bleed into the room at night.

From the start the trip was great, Vanessa welcomed me in and was a constant anchor for help during the whole stay. My room was fully cleaned every day of the stay, the breakfast offering was plentiful, free hot drinks and flavoured water all day, and the heated pool after running the half marathon was a treat!

Only flaw is noise from the street, but this can’t be helped by hotel staff

The staff was super friendly and especially I would like to mention Vijay who made our check in super easy and stress free. He was very kind, professional and polite. We liked the breakfast as it was simple but very fresh and delicious. The only recommendation is to add some more fruits and vegetables.

There was a slight leak in the bathroom and also our room did not have any kind of wardrobe. Only few shelves and the rail next to the TV where you could hang your clothes on the hangers. Also it could be a bit noisy sometimes but in general sound insulation wasn’t bad.

I booked a superior king room on the 9th floor for under 80 euro, and felt like I was the first guest. Everything renovated and designed for optimal comfort. Very nice room with large bathroom. The balcony is on a corner, so panoramic. Though the view is not towards the sea, it is in the sun for most of the day. Nespresso machine in the room, also perfect. Staff and hotel is really trying to stand out, and giving a warm welcome. Though the hotel might look simple, it is value for money. Atleast the room I booked.

The rooms were so modern and clean! Wasn’t even far away from paceville. Staff were so friendly and welcoming! There was also daily cleaning in the room which felt so refreshing every time we went back to the room.

Even with the balcony door closed you can still hear nearly everything sadly. And me and my friend booked two king sized rooms, pretty sure my friend just got a normal double room because my bed was way bigger than hers and was on a way higher level than hers.

The accommodation was great – everything was clean and nicely arranged. We had coffee every day, and the room was cleaned daily. The staff was incredibly kind, especially the reception staff from Serbia – they were amazing! The rooftop pool was a highlight, and the bed was very comfortable. The terrace was lovely, and the location was perfect – not noisy at night, contrary to what some reviews say about this area.

Hotel Mistral is centrally located, easy access to the bus stops and 13 mins to the airport. I loved its proximity to all the places I visited in Malta. The staff are the most helpful , cheerful and friendliest people, always eager to help and assist guests. It is also squeaky clean and the views from the room balcony was superb.
