This Boutique hotel is perfect. The location is perfectly near the bus station, the hotel is in the same building of a shopping centre with a supermarket, so yuo will have whatever you need. The check in was very fast and the receptionist gave us all the information about the hotel and also about Gozo and many advise about restaurant beaches ecc. The room was amazing, I booked a standard room and it was very big, with a desk a wardrobe and a little space with an harmchair where to relax after a long day outside, and an enourmous and confortable bed. The minibar was full of items and there were also some snacks. I appreciate a lot the complimentary bottle of water. The bathroom was also large. but the most important thing was the clearliness. Every part of the room vas perfectly clean. what I liked the most was the breakfast. there was everything I expected and even more, all fresh with a really good quality. the staff is amazing, always kind and nice. The atmoshere in all the hotel is really relaxing and quiet, there is nothing to improve because the hotel is perfect already.

Calm and tranquility is one of the Dukes biggest plus points for me. It’s located at the heart of Gozo within easy reach of shopping and beaches but the rooms are an oasis of calm. The sound proofing is totally excellent and the decor inspires tranquility. Easy public parking at the back or …if you decide to travel by bus, the Duke is super easy to reach. Beaches! There isn’t one, but! With jellyfish always a problem I prefer not to b tied to one particular beach so The Duke serves me very well…it’s central location means I can check on safe beaches for the day and get there very quickly. Staff were always helpful. The breakfast is a buffet that’s worthy of a Duchess 🍽️ with a wide variety and it’s all super tasty 😋😋😋and easy to access. Netflix is so great to have. Love the Duke 🏡

There’s always something you don’t like in an hotel. Nothing comes to mind though. I’ll need to think about this one 😜

If I could give this property more than 10 , I would .The first class experience started at checkin with the most fabulous welcome and run down of what to see in Gozo . Then the room !!!! amazing ( junior suite w spa on the terrace ) The location , perfect , walking distance to the citadel , supermarket under the hotel for snacks ( the hotel will empty your bar fridge if you request to accomodate the snacks !! ) Many restaurants in close proximity , or during summer you can watch the fire works from your jacuzzi ! Breakfast is also another first class experience made that way by the staff !

I paid 100 more and upgraded my poor room to an excellent one TV, great bed and citadel view. Staff is extremely friendly however during checking out receptionist asked for a feedback but did not seem to write down anything to remember. Seemed that she was asking a question with no goal to receive an answer

LED of the wifi router was on during the first night, I needed to tell a out it to the staff, however that is not a new suite and sleeping under bright LED seems like stupid idea in the first place. There was no button to even turn it off. Jacuzzi hottub is good but overrated (to my taste), "Jacuzzi Hamam" is a flop, it's nothing in comparison with real hamam. Every day cleaning lady made up our room and always had to wipe floor in a bathroom because of slightly broken seal on a shower door.

The rooms were spacious, clean and modern The staff were lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful The location was central and excellent as a base for sightseeing around Gozo. The breakfast room, service and choice was perfect.

We were only staying for 2 night and spending this time sightseeing around Gozo. We travelled in August and it was extremely hot, a cold swimming pool would have made this hotel perfect. Something families with children may need to consider. Having said that beaches and swimming areas were only a shirt drive away.

We Liked everything about the Duke from its idyllic location right on the main street meters away from the enchanting Citadella old capital city in Victoria to instantly as we arrived our receptionist Emily took more than care to explain everything to us even where we can go to have a romantic dinner that evening and she booked it for us too. Our room was amazing, so clean and pleasantly functional, the bed was very comfortable too and we had ample space to hang our clothes too. Beautiful ensuite bathroom too! The staff are all very professional yet very down to earth helpful too and they gave us a garage below the hotel to park our car and motorcycle. Breakfast was to die for with expert choices of buffet or cooked including all manner of vegan, gluten free and lactose free so we were overjoyed as we all have our intolerances. The person in charge of breakfast went out of his way to explain it all to us even where their delicious dates are imported from too ..all the staff couldn't do enough for us, we felt like Royalty!! We shall definitely go back to The Duke soon ;)

Very comfortable hotel. Right in the centre of Victoria /Rabat but no noise at all. Very friendly staff. The room was very good - comfortable bed, good en suite. Breakfast selection was excellent - the only problem was deciding what to skip because there was so much choice. Highly recommended. If you are planning a trip to Malta, I highly recommend staying in Gozo instead of, or as well as, Málta Island. Within Gozo, Victoria is right in the middle, and everywhere on the island is easily accessible.

Jason and his team are all very professional. Everything was really wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The receptionist gave us a lot of information about things to see locally and places to eat, even all the bus information for getting around the Island. The location was perfect, and even though it's in the center of town we didn't hear a thing in our room. The staff were all super helpful and friendly and the room was perfect with everything we needed to hand. The breakfast is also outstanding with a huge buffet that changed every day (a special Thank you to the lady who serves the tea/coffee as she is a gem and gives service with a smile real meaning)

Everything was well designed and worked perfectly, including power outlets that accepted all types of plug-ins. Appears to be very recently upgraded. Very elegant and extremely well thought out design - beautifully executed and furnished, very comfortable bed. Excellent location right in the middle of the city, but very quiet. Dedicated indoor parking was a plus.

The new elevator installed the day before our arrival was for unknown reasons not providing access to our floor but reception staff fully helped out with that - a very minor distraction from an otherwise perfect stay.

The reception guy Raul was super helpful! The bed was super comfortable and huge!!!! The room was spotless clean, quite large and modern! The breakfast was great! We did not expect such large variety of food options! There were some cold and hot meals; plus, you can order omelettes and eggs prepared just for you. Overall stay was great!

It was a bit complicated to find the reception, however, it was due to the fact that elevator us under refurbishment. When it will be fixed, it will be easy to find. The hotel located in shopping mall. We stayed in standard rooms, and there were no windows (there was a small window to some internal yard, but it is very small). I was surprised to be honest that there is no "normal" window and at least street view. We stayed only for one night, so it was ok. However, if we would stay longer, I would say that it would bother.
