The traditional stone building has been beautifully restored into an amazing place to stay. Our room was on the top floor with a large terrace with a view over the rooftops and onto the villages beyond. The room was large and comfortable, and both it and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served by the pool and was fresh and plentiful. The location is right by the square in the centre of the village and a few minutes' walk takes you to the bus stop for the lovely Rambla beach which is only 10 minutes away. Daniel, Simon and his wife were fantastic hosts and were very happy to chat and give us local information. We would love to return.

Nothing - we loved our stay.

This family run BnB is a joy to stay in, beautiful property with so many lovely features, exceptionally clean and so quiet and serene, perfect for relaxing with a good book by the pool! Upon entering, we were given a warm, friendly welcome by Daniel, who showed us around the beautiful farmhouse and pool deck. The bedroom was so lovely and very cosy. In the morning, we met Simon who is very friendly and whose breakfast was truly delicious!! We also met Simon's wife, who is also very friendly and makes sure that everything is extremely clean and tidy. We loved staying here as not only is it a lovely BnB, but the owners are very hospitable and we and can't wait to go back! We have also recommended it to friends and family as our stay was so lovely!

The fact that we had to leave so soon!!

Everything was excellent with Simon and Daniel! The location very well situated in the middle of the island, it allowed us to visit many places with maximum 15 min by car. As well good bars/restaurants/markets in less than 1 min walking. The B&B has great decorations, comfortable, small swimming pool… continental (nice) breakfast. And the outstanding hospitality of Simon and Daniel. Thank you guys!

Nothing to complain

The house is a lovely place , quiet, clean and relaxing . We were very lucky because despite I had a mistake during the booking Simon and Dany managed quickly to solve our failure. Incredible attention from the owners , I’m sorry for the ship but we, the travelers, are lucky to find a place to stay as your house and hostess like you, congratulations!! Believe me that you are over the standard of this business !! The bed and breakfast was built with dedication and love , you can perceive it in each corner of the house ,, the refreshing pool to disconnect from the hot days was Amazing. The place XAGHRA is a small and quiet village to stay but you can appreciate the Malta culture taste in each place, few restaurants but high level Cuisine and good prices , close to all the amazing places in gozo ! Very recomendable place to stay , thanks Simon and dany to make our family trip even better !! Good luck !

Early breakfast for the lazy travelers but sure it’s something you can manage with the owners .

We couldn't have stayed better. The Cloisters bed and breakfast is a hostal with a very beautiful construction, we felt good as soon as we entered. The room was great, the outside area was wonderful, with a nice pool, the superb breakfast. But without a doubt what makes this place the best on the island of Gozo are the hosts, Simon and Daniel, they are special people who treated us like family. They helped us with everything and were amazing. We and the kids loved it and ended up deciding to stay 3 days longer than originally planned. We highly recommend! 

We loved everything

What a great little oasis tucked away behind the main square. Every comfort. Great little pool (very deep) and fabulous breakfasts. It was so good to be able to step out each evening and choose a different restaurant - all with great food and service. Easy drive to beaches and coastal sites. Our hosts were gems, couldn’t do enough for us. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The room was perfect, clean tidy and all items like tea coffee water extra soap was in the room and only had to ask the helpfully owners and new items were put in the room. The breakfast was great a big selection. TV in room and outside area and pool helped us both really relax.

There was nothing we disliked

A great few days staying at Cloisters with my son and a great location to explore Gozo.

Wasn't much I can really fault about the accommodation and location, the public transport is a little less frequent than neighbouring Malta but my son and I had a lovely time.

Lovely spot near a beautiful square with a selection of bars and restaurants to chose from. We didnt have a car but managed to reach the local beaches by bus.

This place has been the highlight of my trip to Malta & Gozo. Excellent and very kind hosts, peaceful location, huge balcony and a great pool. If you are on Gozo, I highly recommend staying here. Exceptional.
