I really like the staff here. Anna on reception was just lovely and Kevin, fantastic!! Food is great, particularly the street food area. Loved the concept and the laid back atmosphere in this section. The mini bar is another great idea. There’s a really nice boutique where you pick up whichever drinks/snacks you’d like. You fill your supplied glass jars with freshly ground coffee etc and take it back to your room. Really clever sustainability!!

This was my second resort on this current trip, and in both places the sea is unfortunately murky. I suspect it’s the result of climate change. It’s fine to swim just not snorkelling in the Bay Area. It’s a shame and obviously, nothing to do with the hotels.

We have had a fantastic stay at Lagoon Attitude and would gladly give it a 10/10. Staff was all very helpful and attentive. Room was nice and comfy. Lunch choices sometimes felt a bit limited but in general the food is top quality- Lemongrass the Asian restaurant was just superb! Kayak and sup etc were all included in our half board deal. We were also given a free snorkelling trip on the glass bottom boat which was fantastic. Great location for various activities too as there’s a diving centre on the spot and is right next to a lagoon suitable for kitesurfing. This’d be a perfect base to do day trips to north /west coast if you have a car. Also want to mention that I really love their eco ethos and the pretty decors throughout the hotel. Maybe it’s just me but I got bitten a lot by mosquitoes nearly during every breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant.. so would recommend bringing repellent if you are more susceptible... Would also suggest for the hotel to provide natural repellent. No big deal otherwise.

The staff members were so friendly, Karin and Lisa were so welcoming and helpful on the front desk. All the staff in the Kot Nou restaurant, the Coral restaurant and on the bars were amazing and a special shout out to the young man who was running the coral bar who’s name I can’t remember (he has been working there for 7 months). The water sports team went above and beyond and one staff member helped me learn to windsurf. The food was outstanding in all aspects and the place is beautifully designed. The coral meal was extra special.

The hotel cannot do anything about this but it is challenging to get anywhere from the property without a car but that’s obvious from looking at the map. It was also very windy on the beach which the hotel.

Beautiful rooms, eco friendly, amazing staff. The baker was fantastic - different bread every day, lots of pastries to try! The lagoon is peaceful and beach area lovely to relax. Great water sport / activities included in your stay. Great “street food” lunch option as well as buffet.

The evening let the hotel down a bit - dinner felt rushed and we couldn’t book one of the a la carte Restaurant without a week’s notice. The entertainment was average and the main bar served drinks in plastic cups. The music at the main pool was quite loud dance music from 10am.

Check in process was great, a nice welcome with drinks and tour of the site provided. The staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable. We booked for half board, the breakfast was good with a wide range of options. For dinner, we had a gala dinner buffet on one of the days, there were good variety of food but the quality was alright, not amazing. For another night we booked Kot Nou restaurant on site, which was a la carte, which we found was much better quality food. There's a choice of 3 restaurants you can pre book for a la carte. There is evening entertainment also from around 8/9pm which was very good. The 3 swimming pools on site were great, a different vibe at each one. Overall, an eco-sustainable theme the resort has, which was nice.

There is a boat house with different water activities included in the stay. However, due to weather (cyclone which was coming in a few days) they were not running any of them, such as the glass bottom boat tour/ snorkelling, kayaking. The private beach was very small, compared to other resorts (if you're more of a beach person).

We were informed upon arrival that both halfboard and fullboard options do NOT include basic necessities like WATER for any of the meals! Furthermore, we observed a lot of times the kitchen staff, opening food displays by same handles like the tourists, only to proceed arranging the food by hand, without changing gloves, washing or disinfecting hands! We made this known at the reception, but with no improvements afterwards. Attention to details and customer feedback would make it an excellent resort.

Overall nice hotel, we really enjoyed the food. We have tried three restaurants Kot Nou, Lemongrass and Coral. It was a good experience, also tried the SPA, it was lovely. There were also nice activities included such as snorkeling and pool party and evening show every night with live music.

Beware the hidden extra charges everywhere. For some it does say that there is a supplement, for some it doesn’t. We had all inclusive, however still ended up around 120 eur extra which is just annoying. The cocktails at the bar are low quality and the room was pretty worn out. Staff was quite slow and wasn’t very attentive to details.. Location is quite remote, not much around it and the beach is not that great.

The resort is spacious and well designed, full of trees, palms, cacti, birds so that you feel as if you are in the jungle, while keeping on a very classy appearance. The food was awesome, each dinner was different with so many choices that one can hardly even try everything. The local cuisine night and the sea food dinner were both a blast. Both the beach and the pool are really good, with the only downside that the sand is so tiny that you cannot really see the aquatic life (or we had bad luck with weather and currents).

Lots of non-aggressive stray dogs that roam the area sometimes enter the premises.

The beautiful landscaping which was attended to daily. The local vernacular style of the buildings with thatched roofs, spacious communal areas, airy, lovely restaurants & bars, great interior design very tastefully done. The most outstanding aspect of our stay were the friendly, thoughtful & very helpful staff, who really couldn’t do enough for us. From our housekeeper to the restaurant & bar staff - they were all amazing & definitely made our holiday. We were on our honeymoon & our lovely housekeeper decorated our room daily with flowers or petals for us which was so thoughtful. The two pools next to the Coral restaurant were particularly impressive with a view over the private bay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Lagoon Attitude to anyone.

If we were being picky the packed lunches weren’t great. The choices could have been better & more in keeping with the excellent food in the rest of the hotel.
