Great location and really nice facilities. This hotel is part of a Canadian Hotel's club and the local stuff keeps this running like a Swiss clock. We went for one of the cheapest rooms, which was already pretty big and comfy but at the end we did an upgrade in order to get a better view from the terrace.

When everything is spot-on one starts focusing on minor things. The only thing I could be minimally improved is food. I believe that the current level is very good for tourist's standards but if one is used to real Mexican cuisine, it could get even better. Luckily there are many offers around, either going to the village or even by walking along the beach and trying some of the smaller restaurants down there.

we loved this place! our 2 bdr suite was incredibly spacious and beautiful views. we had everything we needed. all of us enjoyed the food, especially breakfast. excellent service at the restaurant. not much service at the pool or beach, but we figured it out. beach area is awesome! can’t wait to return.

the pillows need a major upgrade and we couldn’t open the window blinds so it was always dark in the room. other than that everything was perfect!

The food quality was excellent though the service may have been a little slow at times.

Elevators are needed!!!!! The lighting was too dim. Should have a night light near the step down stairs to the living room. I tripped on them several times in the dark.

The location is great, walk to downtown, playa las Gatos. The beach is one of the best in the area, hotel has a private area on the beach. Staff is super friendly. Happy hour in the pool bar 3-4.30! The hotel consists of a few buildings so better double check with them if you want to have next to the pool/ beach front/ next to restaurant.. Ocean view one bedroom has full kitchen. Transfer from the airport cost us 640 pesos(ordered though the hotel), taxi to the airport 400. Like everything!

Nothing. If traveling with little kids - there are a lot of stairs. Would be nice if water in the room was included in the room price, it’s just 20 pesos!

It was an excellent property with great staff and a great location. Was worth the money.

I am not a fan of all the Covid measures but that's a whole other story. I am inclined to believe there are 2 groups emerging... those that are scared to death of Covid and might be clamoring for all the "protective" measures... and those that aren't. I and most of my family and friends already had it and blew thru it... time to move on. If I were a business person I would cater to the people that are not afraid and don't want all the mayhem... the others might want to stay home and "shelter" till it blows over... good luck with that one.

I can't even begin to list all the things I loved about this resort. We had an amazing view of the ocean from our giant balcony and our rooms were extremely comfortable. I would 100% staying here if you want to brings friends, family, or your partner! There is something for everybody here!

The building next to the resort was in the middle of construction, but it was easy to ignore the jack hammer after a few drinks!

The location of the hotel was very good. Rooms were quite ample and clean. The staff was the best; they were all very attentive and helpful.

My expectations of the rooms for the price I paid were definitely higher than what I got. The rooms were a bit dated and dark. There was also a lot of construction noise around.

Views!

Maintenance is not keeping up to. Every time I visit I point out termite tubes on the walls but nobody seems to care. It’s a serious issue, but just goes ignored

The staff is some of the best I've ever seen. They are very attentive and go out of their way to help. The views from my room were outstanding and the room was very spacious. We loved the pool and swim up bar and the beach is beautiful. I found it meaningful that the hotel also does their best to help with the turtle eggs laid on the beach. The only things I would stress to others to be aware of 1) if you are a smoker, you absolutely can not smoke anywhere on this property. This is not a negative, just be aware of it. 2) if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. There are a lot of stairs. Staff does their best and can drive you via a golf cart as close as possible to where you wish to go, but it is something to be aware of. It is built into the side of a cliff and that's what makes the views so beautiful.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were always helpful and cheerful. We asked for local information, and they always provided some helpful insight. We booked an excursion with the staff, and were very pleased with the trip.

you might provide an alternative for evening meals on the night your kitchen is closed. And it would have been great to have an alternative to the pool bar for when we didn't wish to go down to the pool or bay.
