Was great to have the kitchenette as I was sick for the first week of our stay. The houskeeping staff was excellent and attentive. The front desk staff was amazing and the bar staff was excellent. A beautiful room with a view of sea an sun. I would absolutely stay again and hopefully for longer than 20 days.

Could not make local calls from landline in room. Firestick would not work on TV, but wifi in room was good. Not always hot water for dishes and showers.

View of the ocean from our balcony was stunning. Birds, whales and even dolphins on occasion. 2 elevators, wheel chair ramp, full size appliances in the kitchen area of our 'studio'room. Location close to restaurants, live music at the hotel twice a week Pub food at hotel was also good including fresh Caesar salad. etc

The furniture and ambience on the main floor lobby was tired. Views of storage rooms messy. I enjoyed the pool and it looked great from the lobby but if you go down to the beach and look back, oh , oh. Cement facade and steps are in bad shape after hurricane last October.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. Anna & Ivan went above and beyond. What really stood oitbis how happy all the staff were...even the guests were nice. Absolutely paradise.

The beds were not that comfortable and the food in the restaurant wasnt great and more expensive than if you venture out.

Right on the beach with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Had a small restaurant overlooking the pool and ocean which we ate at for breakfast (molletes mexicanos very good). We arrived early but were able to get into our rooms.

The mattress was a little hard for our liking but that depends on personal preference.

The view and the location of the property was perfect and next to the beach .

The staff lady that greeted me was mostly rude and changed her attitude towards the end but overall not professional.

This is an exceptional location with very comfortable and bright accommodations

The restaurant and housekeeping staff were delightful. The front desk staff was great once you got their attention. The wifi is hit and miss.

Basic rooms could use a small fridge and coffeemaker, for the price of the room they should be included.

the food isn’t the greatest, but there are so many other options in Barra it wasn’t an issue

The swimming pool and beautiful views of the ocean as it was beachside. It also had good breakfasts poolside in front of the ocean.

The owner and staff were very nice and professional. Polite and quick to help. The food was tasty and good and you got what you ordered, not some menu item that had been ‘experimented with’, or ‘deconstructed’. We had a one bedroom apartment on the second floor. Although the furniture was a bit dated, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. We had everything we needed in the two full bathrooms and the housekeepers were pleasant and efficient. The hotel was at 100% capacity, due to the Father’s Day weekend, however, it did not interfere with our enjoyment. Tropical Storm Dolores arrived during our stay and the hotel was well prepared and mindful of safety issues. If you want to be in the centre of Barra de Navidad and are looking for a no-frills property with great service, value and cleanliness, this is for you. We would definitely stay again.

Lower floors need some upgrading, however, newer floors are beautifully finished.
