Great location. Good size room and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast on the roof to start the day. Bar is a fun spot to hang with good drinks, and good music, has a very hip warm vibe, and the bartenders are super friendly and helped me with my spanish in between making drinks. All the employees were very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
Not the hotels fault but we were on the 5th floor and with no elevator it was kind of a work out after a long day to climb to the room, maybe it's the elevation I don't know or we are just out of shape haha. We were jealous of people staying on the 3rd and 2nd floor. Also, it was not a big deal, but the internet was spotty, and the TV was too hard for us to figure out.

The location was great, the included breakfast was good but it could have more options. Very nice welcome cocktail. I was arriving late and the manager made accommodations for a staff member to check me in. They were great in this respect. Also if you arrive late like me knock on the door (there's no bell, or big hotel sign). I was worried about the noise level but I had a pleasant week there. I like the restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.
Bold choices in the decor. I am not particularly keen on the peach/rose tones. Also, some people have commented on the lighting fixtures. The lamp on top of the bed is oversized and badly placed, the light fixtures in the kitchen and the bathroom are bad choices to be honest, it doesn't create warmth and relax. However don't let this deter you from visiting the hotel. These are minor things.

Nice hotel with a lot of charm and character. Really liked the retro meets art deco interiors. Big comfy beds and great location. Staff were all very nice.
The bar (which is usually empty) should consider lowering the music volume. This is a an old building with no soundproofing. So when the bar plays loud music, the bass penetrates through the floor boards to all the rooms above, hence making it difficult to sleep. Don’t book if a light sleeper.

The Hotel San Fernando was overall an excellent place to stay. We enjoyed the daily free breakfast on the terrace and Memo was extremely kind, welcoming and accommodating. We had delicious drinks at the downstairs bar and the location is perfect for strolling along the tree lined streets.
Overall the hotel is a little pricey but not to the point where it did not feel worth it. There is no air conditioning, which I imagine would be a problem in the warmer months but in late September even on the 5th floor we did not overheat. Lastly, there was a carafe of water left on the desk in the room each day for us after the housekeeper came. Ultimately, we were charged for the carafe of water each day upon check-out, which felt like we were getting taken advantage of a little bit- no one mentioned a charge for this upfront.

I’m so happy that we discovered this wonderful elegant hotel. Our room had a balcony, perfect for drinks and relaxing. The location is in one of the most beautiful sections of CDMX.
The 5th floor walk up can be a bit challenging with no elevator but lots of rooms available on lower floors. We liked the view and quiet that far from the street though.

Location is amazing! Walking distance and short Uber ride to all the best places in the city. The breakfast included in the stay was incredible, our group did not skip a single breakfast meal and we looked forward to it every morning. The staff are all unbelievably so kind, considerate, and accommodating. The rooms were clean and we loved the bathroom products. Excellent stay!!
Nothing!

Incredible large beds, lovely balcony and ideal location. Really helpful and friendly staff too. Beautiful design and decorations throughout.
the lighting in the room is brutal, it's like interrogation lamps, very harsh. Also the room we were in is close to where people go for breakfast in the morning, so there is quite a bit of noise starting at 7am. Can't sleep with that much noise/commotion.

Perfect location - my wife and I loved walking around the Condesa neighborhood. Staff was very friendly and efficient, breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely.
There's no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. Didn't bother us any, but it might be a problem for some people.
