It was a beautiful hotel very rustic, the rooftop was amazing during breakfast, the breakfast was also very yummy and the people who serve breakfast very kind and smiles everywhere I loved the vibe. Our room was comfortable but the only thing I will say is that the room I stayed in 201 needs work the walls had some scratches and faded paint, the bed was comfy but the bed frame had stains but everything else was good.

I called the hotel to ask until what time they would allow me in since I was in the party and the guy kept hanging up on me it was very annoying he finally answered the phone and my questions by the 4th time

The Hotel Concepto is a very pleasant and attractive hotel for excellent value! The staff is extremely accommodating and kind. The free breakfast that was included with my package on the roof terrace was lovely. Nice hot breakfast and great views. The Concepto is a four blocks or so walk from the main plaza on foot. The street is in the historic district alongside other fine old Morelia buildings.

The standard rooms are small with windows onto the corredor, not outside. That said, they have all you need for a comfortable stay. For windows to the outdoors, be sure to ask for a junior or senior suite for not much more money.

They allowed an early check in which was really helpful and one of the staff was English speaking which was helpful given my limited Spanish! We asked about a hair dryer and it was delivered to the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Bottled water was provided and the bathroom and shower were great. Location to the Cathedral was awesome and the included breakfast on the rooftop was exceptional. We were only able to book one night but would have happily stayed our entire time in Morelia.

The staff were the best - so accommodating and helpful. Good internet. Great showers. AC working well. Great price value. Located in the historical centre but on a quiet street. Easy to walk to all the sightseeing and find your way around. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. I arrived in the early morning and was able to store my luggage until check in time and use the courtyard couches to rest for a little. I really appreciated Mario's attention and follow-up on my request to change room. He was very helpful. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was great (use translation app). Mario also helped organize a tour to the El Rosario Monarch Butterfly Reserve. The room was on the small side but comfortable enough. Firm mattress, soft linen, lots of pillows in different density to choose from. Room was cleaned daily, towels and linen changed. The hotel may have seen better days and could use some renovation, but the overall ambience made up for it. I enjoyed the breakfast on the roof deck with fabulous views over the city to the mountains. Even got some nice sunset pictures. Also convenient is a corner store very close by.

Inner courtyard tends to be noisy when guests come and go but that is to be expected. Overall, nights were quiet and I slept well. The first room had a smell and I asked to change to another room which was done quickly. Would be great to have a luggage rack to place suitcase on in the rooms. A suggestion to improve sustainability: Have a water refill station in the hotel to use less plastic bottles.

Excellent location, only 3 blocks from Morelia Cathedral. Loads of public transport links so it's easy to get there and you're within 5 minutes walking distance from the historic centre of the city. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Provided us with a map of the city and advice on where we can catch public transport, as well as a tour of the hotel, room and facilities. Room was modern with a good amount of storage and nice en suite bathroom. Great views from the balcony, especially at sunset. Complementary water and coffee refreshed daily. Free breakfast included was a bonus.

Bed was a bit too hard for my liking but comfortable enough. Could have done with a rubbish bin in the room as well (there was only a small one in the bathroom). Would be nice to have a 'Do not disturb' sign for the door for days you don't want housekeeping.

Good area, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was great and part of the room fee.

Internet was on and off in the room. A bit noisy when people arrived late at night, hotel should have a rule of 'no noise after 10pm or 11pm'. Thanks,

Only window was to internal courtyard. Advertising this as a villa is misleading and set up for disappointment. It is a double hotel room and should be listed as such.

Nice small hotel in a great location, with smiling, kind and friendly stuff. Breakfast included is a complete deliciuos meal served at the open terrace. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, awsome wifi signal everywhere. Would love to come back.

Not all cards are accepted. Had a hard time at my late arrival with only my amex card. Extra services as taxi cab, airport transpo and tours are not well managed to equal the standards of nice, beautiful, well decorated and great crew of this small hotel.

It was great to stay in a place that was truly quiet and comfortable. Including the breakfast is a nice touch, and it was generous and delicious. The location is really convenient, walking distance from all the main sights.

Calling the rooms "villas" or even "suites" (which is the term the hotel uses) creates a false impression. To be clear, these are what would be called "rooms" anywhere else, and the so-called patios and balconies are in the public space of the hotel - the lobby and the upper walkways.

The terrace in fresh and enjoyable, day or nigth.
