The grounds are beautiful and the history of the buildings was fascinating. It's a very peaceful location with a lovely climate, a good gym, and a large pool. The rooms were adequate and were well furnished with toiletries.

The walls are paper thin so it was difficult to sleep both nights as there was a party going on until the wee hours of the morning. The food was a bit disappointing in terms of choices of cuisines. The spa area was quite run down and the prices were high.

we were charged $180 pesos for two big bottles of water. the bottles were not in the minibar but outside on a counter. i believe charging customers for drinkable water in the room is stingy. Specially when the water from the tap/faucet in mexico is very well known for not being drinkable.

Beautiful Japanese-style hotel. The gardens are beautiful, the swimming pool is great, and the construction is amazing. Food is also very good.

There is no wifi in the rooms and cellular reception is also very bad. If you’re looking to relax and disconnect, it is a great option. If you have to work, although there is a tiny business center, I would not recommend staying here. Rooms are very dark, even with the lights on.

Breakfast is good, there is a buffet in a beautiful place with lots of options. I just LOVE the gardens in this hotel, I could spend hours there. Rooms are very spacious and nice, I would recommend better pillows.

This hotel is not accesible to people with disabilities, which should be clarified when you book.

Wifi is available only in certain areas of the hotel and the quality isn’t the best. I believe the hotel should improve wifi connectivity to rooms (my friends and I all had remote calls from work and were worried of where to take them and if wifi was going to be reliable)

If you need to go outside for a walk, buy food, drug store and so many other things then you have do it vía taxi Uber is not available in the location of the hotel so you are forced to use the taxi service provided by the hotel The taxi service es awful no one have a/c in a really hot day, prices are high and always are different even if go to the same place

The parc with its old trees is beautiful, so are the Japanese buildings. The open terraces are elegant and well kept. Receptionists and bell boys are very helpful, so was the chamber maid. The heated pool is lovely.

The menu is quite limited for a vegetarian, not quite Japanese and not Mexican either. The evening waiters tended to be invisible as there were very few guests. The outside tables were still not cleaned by 11 am the next morning. There are few flowers in the gardens. My room was rather cold. 2 garden chairs at outoor WIFI spot were broken.

The environment: garden and houses were wonderful

No Wi-Fi in the room: not normal for sushi level of hotel One ime usage shampoo/bath gel and change of towel everyday is not environmental friendly: you shall put refillable shapoo etc. and clean the towel only when required.

The renovation made to the hotel is amazing, loved the updated rooms.

The prizes in mini bar items are extremely expensive. Almost $90 pesos for a can of 325 ml coca cola is truly a rip off. The Sunday Brunch is very expensive to the point that we went to a near hotel to eat Brunch half the price and the same buffet style.
