Charming low-key small hotel. The small T-shaped pool outside our room was great for a cooling dip, but not for swimming. All that we needed. Antonio and Sofia are delightful and make us feel like locals. Marii is known for its breakfast and lunch and the restaurant sits above the rooms with lovely garden views. O, and the gardens are amazing. Beautiful tropical blooming ferns, palms and trees. San Pancho is a more relaxed, bohemian and authentic destination than PV or large resorts. It is reflected in the locals and foreign visitors. We loved it.

A small refrigerator would have been nice, but they offer a cooler and ice, which you can take to the beach too.

The hotel is just perfect! It’s a jungle vibe with a pool in the middle where all the 8 rooms meet. The staff was excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Very big thank you to Mariana and Esteban and (Argentinian girl). We felt welcomed and you guys made us feel at home. The rooms were very clean and the king size bed very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every morning. The cafe at the entrance serves the most delicious breakfast. Thank you for Esteban for your restaurant recommendations and thank you to Mariana for finding us the best beach clubs to enjoy our day. The service was 11/10. Thank you for making our stay amazing.

There is one room under the kitchen area which was given to me at first. The AC started making a weird noise at night and around 5:30am when the staff is preparing the kitchen you can hear everything. The next morning the staff was very quick to resolve the issue. They changed my room and sent a technician to fix the AC the the first room. I have zero complaints!

A very Zen-like property. The staff is incredible! We are finding that almost all beach hotels are charging USA prices. The nightly rate is a bit higher than the property warranted. The bed was comfortable, pillows too large. Mot all amenities were there for a higher priced hotel. The bathroom was very big and perhaps part of this space should have been made into a closet with shelves. We lived out of our suitcase the whole time as there were only 5 hangers on the one available rod. The futon is not made for sitting on. A big slant that made use of it difficult. Patio chairs were not comfortable. Wi-Fi in the room was worse than the cafe Wi-Fi. The cafe staff and food was excellent! We love the whole staff and was super accommodating , and always smiling but there could be improvements with regards to the room and corresponding price point.

Verdant setting with nice rooms and the pool is a lifesaver on hotter days. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The cafe is some of the best breakfast in San Pancho.

If privacy is your priority, this may not be the place for you. It's a bit of an intimate setting and it was pretty easy to hear our neighbours talking in their rooms. Also, rooms don't come with a fridge or cooler... some way to keep drinks/fruit/etc cold in the room would have been really nice.

Where to start! It’s such a well-designed boutique hotel. Only a small number of rooms ensures it’s a quiet, tranquil place to stay, and the dense plant life makes the courtyard by the pool feel like you’re in a jungle paradise. The staff went above and beyond - really couldn’t speak more highly of the service we received! And finally the restaurant. Great coffee, fantastic food, all from a breezy open air setting overlooking the town. 10/10.

This place is a true gem, in probably the best town in Riviera Nayarit. The most tranquil place to unwind, while a short walk away from the beach and a ton of great restaurants & bars (has its own cafe/restaurant as well). Clean, comfortable, great amenities, easy access and all in all a perfect getaway spot. Mariana was a great host with excellent recommendations for San Pancho. Definitely going back and highly recommended.

The location was perfect! Far enough out of town for it to be peaceful and quiet and a close enough walk into town and beach (7 mins). the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. room was simple and so comfortable. great privacy with the greenery outside every room and relaxing in the pool was our favorite thing to do in the hot afternoon. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I would stay again!

The hotel exceeded my already high expectations. The rooms are small, but very tastefully appointed. There are few rooms in the facility and I liked the intimacy of the hotel. The rooms all have large sliding doors which surround a central courtyard that is very lush and green; living in close quarters to this nature was very pleasant and relaxing. The curtains and the fact that non-hotel guests are not allowed downstairs provided the right balance of security and privacy while still allowing a nice level of openness to the common green space when desired. I also appreciated that the hotel seems genuinely committed to its ecologically friendly philosophy — solar generated electricity, bamboo linens, laundry service only when requested, etc. The cafe upstairs was genuinely surprising how delicious it was. The dishes were the most considered and well balanced that we had in San Pancho — perhaps the best French toast and chilaquiles I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many examples of both in my life.

Whatever inconveniences that existed were so minor that they are not worth mentioning.

The most delicious breakfast in San Pancho! My stay at the Marii hotel was really lovely. The staff was so thoughtful and kind. They made sure I got into my room after a 12-hour flight delay put my arrival in the middle of the night. The hotel is small with only a few rooms around a beautiful jungle courtyard with a small saltwater pool which is perfect for cooling off after soaking up the sun on the beach. The rooms themselves are minimal eco-chic and well-appointed. I would definitely recommend enjoying their hospitality if you are visiting San Pancho.

Marii Boutique Hotel was absolutely stunning with its modern rooms and the little jungle-like pateo and pool. The service was very helpful and friendly and they even offered yoga classes (150 pesos for drop-in) at the hotel. Our little room was very clean and nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot! The hotel is very eco-friendly and they offer free water at the café to fill up your water bottles plus sustainable shampoo and soap, which we really liked.

Since the bathroom is open at the top, there isn't much privacy when someone is in the bedroom. And there could be more space for clothes, but we ended up having a good system with the space we had.
