A lovely throwback to simpler times, this historic landmark is a cool, old-fashioned inn literally a few steps from Sayulita beach and just about anywhere you might want to go in this hopping town. Our room on the fourth floor had a porch offering a bird’s eye view of the bustling street and even the surf over the tops of the coconut trees. Ceiling fans and a very effective a/c weren’t even needed. Jessica and her team go all out to make it feel like a home away from home.

This is the place where appreciating authentic surroundings over fancy furnishings will mean you will find a lot to love. Be ready to get out there and make the most of being so close to great food, sidewalk dining, and nighttime entertainment.

This Original Hotel of over 40yrs old is the most charming, welcoming place I've had the pleasure of visiting. The worker's are uber nice and more than accommodating, I preferred no daily services from housekeeping; they still showed up during my stay and serviced my room; thank you ladies! I have nothing but adoration for Sayulita Central Hotel. I will most definitely return and stay here. It is centrally located in Downtown Sayulita and close to everywhere you may want explore. Great location! Right in the centre of town, everything is a few steps away. Our room was great, everyone at the hotel was amazing and helpful and the common room was a great place to hang out.

The coworking space wasn't what I expected. There were a few group tables with power, the wifi was good and a big comfy couch, but only 1 table at a good height for typing on a laptop.

The owner was very welcoming and commendating to my family, she was very lovely to share with us the story of her hotel, the first hotel build in Sayulita. Great location and I will definitely Recommend this place to all my friends and family

The facade hides the fact that this is a cool, quirky spot right in the heart of Sayulita centro. I had a recent knee injury, and the owner and staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We will definitely stay again.

A smallish thing, but there were bedroom windows we couldn’t cover. Not that anyone wants to see two middle-aged people frolicking, but they could if they wanted to!

I would 100000% recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to sayulita!! We had room 13 which is the very top. Since you are in the heart of sayulita, we expected to hear some music and noise From surrounding bars/rest so I brought ear plugs just in case but we had the fan going & that helped block the sound a lot!! The view & patio were an amazing addition to an already amazing stay!

Very helpfull and friendly staff and the location is just brilliant. Safe and walkable area. Great restaurants nearby.

The staff was friendly and incredible helpful. Eduardo the manager was wonderful and very informative and just an all round great person.:) The location was perfect! restaurants, shops and bars all around, and the beach is a a few steps down the road. I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks in 3 different rooms. If you have the chance to book the penthouse suite, do it! Great ocean view, private patio with hammock and sitting area and a refrigerator. Really nice.

Definitely bring earplugs, and ask for a floor fan to add white noise to muffle the noisy street, especially on the weekends..

The room was spacious and light filled with cute old school charm. It comes with a spectacular and huge balcony that has a view of the ocean, a hammock and a lounge bed. The hot water in the shower was instant, the fridge was cold, and there was ample filtered water. I am very particular about lighting and in my opinion, they nailed it. It was very simple but spot on in ambience.

The room was wonderful and the staff was amazing. The only thing I would recommend is to bring earplugs if you plan on going to sleep before 2. It’s in the center of Sayulita nightlife so come prepared.

Great view ocean view from our balcony, since it was located on the top floor you had a nice view of the beach over the few buildings that are between the hotel and the beach, which in addition is only 1 block away! The staff are incredibly nice, always smiling and going out of the way to help in any small assistance we needed, i.e. we asked for a stapler and since they ran out at that moment they even went to other nearby commerces to ask for one, I was really touched by this since in many big chain hotels if they don't have something like this they will just tell you no and you gotta figure it out yourself. In the morning is really quite and you don't hear any noice until late night when the bars start opening a few blocks away, so its really peaceful. I didn't have any problem with the wi-fi which is good because even eventhough I personally didn't use it but they have a big room use for home office and cowering space that many people were using at the time.

There was a some of light coming in the room in the morning, since the curtains were very thin and didn't cover the entiry of the windows, which is ok if you don't mind some light to wake up with but is good to keep into account if you can only sleep in fully dark rooms.
