Excellent location. Beautiful scenery and the staff are amazing.

Booking.com linked my trip to "Daytrip" for a prearranged ride from the airport to the resort and then from the resort the return to the airport. Daytrip is a scam. I paid for the ride but the driver did not show up and I had to UBER. Booking.com should not direct American citizens to a scam company like Daytrip. It was very stressful and almost ruined our whole trip. I ended up paying an extra $300 to get to the airport and not miss my flight. Booking should refund the money I spent on this scam ride service.

The setting is beautiful, the staff was attentive, the grounds were well kept. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our driver hired by Villa Amor to take us to and from the airport was prompt and safe. Si Senor, the restaurant on the property was also excellent. Carlos the manager set up a beautiful and memorable birthday dinner in the gazebo with wine and flowers. We enjoyed the lovely infinity pool in a jungle setting.

The only part about our stay that was not perfect was the noise from people's music around the bay. Villa Amor does not have control over this.Heavy duty earplugs and noise cancelling apps help some.

Villa Amor was a great choice for a hotel - perfect distance from town (8ish minute walk) so you're away from any noise on the weekends, in the middle of both beaches you'd want to go to (also a quick walk) and a wonderful pool if you feel like sticking close by. Our villa was extremely well equipped, and we so appreciated having everything cleaned daily, as it was open air. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure was great, and loved the air conditioned bedrooms! Having filtered water available daily was also a perfect touch.

The only thing that could have been better was a quick explanation of the locks to our villa. We had two doors - one gate to the steps, and one door to the actual villa itself that required a padlock, chain, and key. We were a little confused at first, but it was easy enough to figure it out. A quick run through upon arrival would easily fix this.

This hotel is on travel blogs for good reason. After check in, you enter through lush tropical grounds next to the ocean. The friendly amd helpful staff assists you to your room, each individually named and unique. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and big enough to be there with other people and not feel crowded.

Minor things; the toilet ran, the air conditioner in our room had a bright light display. Nothing worth a bad review.

This room (Delfin) was magnificent. It was a large studio/villa on street level overlooking the bay. The view of the beach and listening to the waves crashing on the shore was fantastic. The walk into town was about 5 minutes along the beach or up the street. The swimming pool was majestic and conveniently out of the sun. You could borrow padel boards, boogie boards and snorkelling stuff at the front desk to use on the beach.

The closest bar and restaurant (Si Senor) had large portions but things were americanized and a little expensive. The close proximity to the street meant that it was quite noizy. One time we came out of our room in our swimming trunks and there was a funeral procession on its way to the nearby cemetary around the corner.

it’s in the quiet end of town so no loud music or noise at night housekeeping was top notch the Pool was nice free yoga was nice check in was easy and fast free use of boogie boards and surf boards was a plus amenities in room were nice grounds were well kept

our room was right next to the laundry and apparently housekeeping supply room so we heard laundry going a lot of the time with buzzers going off. also heard the staff two-way radios beeping constantly. it wasn’t loud but not entirely peaceful either. the gym was not included in my room even though it was basically right by my room. for the price, gym should be included and it was basically empty the whole time we were there there are a lot of steps - didn’t bother me but my husband had had an accident a couple of weeks before we arrived, so it was very challenging for him for that price i think it would have been appropriate if breakfast was included on site bar and restaurant seemed pricey. we didn’t eat there but we had a few very weak drinks

Absolutely perfect - the Tortuga villa exceeded expectations and the staff were all wonderful. If you're unable to climb stairs this is probably not the resort for you. The view from our room one of the best of anywhere we've ever stayed. Loved the calm/zen atmosphere of the resort. Bikes available, but we walked everywhere. The pool area is a great place to start or end the day - it's a quiet area among greenery, some shade areas too. Beach is within steps and the bar/restaurant is right there too. Great set up! We hope to be back someday

I stayed in the La Paz Villa & the rooms were gorgeous, large & comfortable. I wanted to take the pillows home!! The patio massive & the pool awesome (cold though!). The kitchen had everything that we needed. The staff (hotel, bar, & restaurant) could not have been more helpful or courteous! I hated to leave the view! I took advantage of the free paddle boards & free yoga class too. Both were a first for me.

Water pressure. It took a long time for the water to heat up & then the pressure was so low that it took a while for me to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The steps! So many steps! LOL But I was aware before booking due to other reviews. Also be sure to lock up any food in either the fridge or microwave because those Mexican raccoons (kudamundi) can get into even the bins!

Las Lanchas room was perfect! Loved the open living space with the two private bedrooms and baths. The view was incredible! Location is super close to the town square with an easy 5-10 minutes walk but far enough to be out of all of the hustle and bustle.

The primary shower water temp never got warm. Maybe that wasn't too bad of a thing since I had a bit of a sunburn and the cool water I'm sure helped a bit.
