Lovely hotel. Well equipped and well cared for, very clean and comfortable. Very close to museums, restaurant district, and other tourist attractions, and able to walk around during the day with no problems. I wish I could have stayed here more.

Check-in process is somewhat inconvenient. You need to communicate with the hotel before you arrive, let the staff know when you arrive via whatsapp, and check in at the office in a separate building.

Location, location, location! Hotels Antigua Santa Lucia in Barrio Antiguo is the very epitome of a boutique hotel. The property is well appointed. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants, bars, shops, museums, and assorted cultural events. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and courteous. On a side note, there is a delicious little bar/cafe just across the way: La Casa del Panque -- from breakfast to a late-night cap. Already recommended Hotels Antigua to our most persnickety of friends.

Great location, close to MacroPlaza, museums, Barrio Antiguo, restaurants, etc.. The room was very nice. The bathroom was super spacious. The nearby "house restaurant" - La Casa del Panqué - is a wonderful quaint gem - staff, location, food choices and quality. I also loved its proximity to a nearby neighborhood with a grocery store and outdoor food vendors.

My only disappointment was that the hotel was doing a small remodel that was just outside of my room. I would have appreciated notification from the staff, just a heads up. Still, it had no effect on the enjoyment of my room and my stay; and the construction guys were quite kind and mindful of my coming and going.

Kind of a strange little place. Everything is electronic so I never saw one person. I did not see anyone who was staying there and no one was working there. They send you codes to get in. Everything a person could need was available in the very clean and well-designed room. The location was very good, a short walk to the fun pedestrian area with restaurants, and in another direction the city center. It was an unbelievable value.

Kind of lonely. No food available. But one can't have everything at that price.

The instructions to get to the right place were confusing. When booked, it is not clear that there are three properties called Hotel Antigua on the same block. It would be better to say so, and explain which one is being booked (e.g. north side, etc). Pool was out of service.

The staff was really friendly and accommodating. You might want to bring your own pillows or pillow cases. The cases were too short and the pillows were a little yellow but the rest of the facility was spotless! It's very close to restaurants, shops, museums and night life. I would highly recommend this fantastic place! I would definitely come back, great value.

I started conversation with Alejandro, owner of the place, days before my trip. He made me aware of pool not being available and also asked me the estimated tie for my arrival. The day of my arrival with my elderly parents, we were greeted by Israel and gave us the hotel information: WiFi code, door codes, near restaurants. Hotel is in the Barrio Antiguo neighborhood with near access to Paseo Santa Lucia(River Walk), about 5 minutes from Macro Plaza.

Beds were a little high and little hard, specially for my elderly parents.

No contact with anyone. All done over What’s App. Felt rushed in the morning. Cleaners waiting to clean room at 10:45am Sunday morning, check out at noon. Pictures on site must be of another room.

Pool was closed. No proper reception. Grotty area but a short walk to a nice pedestrian precinct with bars and restaurants.

What did I like? Everything! My room was huge, spotless and comfortable. The hotel is located near many attractions yet is on a quiet street. I will stay here on my next visit. Also, the owner Alejandro is awesome.
