The staff were perfect. Yasmine at the front desk took care of everything, made arrangements, and was a delight to deal with. A lovely person. Everyone from the cleaners to the cooks to the bar staff were pleasant and personable. We received an ice cold beer on arrival and there's a water cooler in the reception for guest use. There are a few resident cats that laze in the courtyard. This is a great place to slow down and enjoy. The room was clean, and cleaned daily. Decent showers, fresh towels etc were provided. Plus beach towels were available at the front desk for beach days. Our room didn't have a/c but the overhead fan was great and effective. Note that some rooms don't have windows but honestly, it keeps things cool. The beds were ok, neither luxury nor lumpy. Pillows were a bit flat. The rooftop is the real gem. It has a bank of hammocks and a pool overlooking the sea. There's a little bar that serves snacks and drinks from 1 to 7pm. (The restaurant downstairs is open 7am -7pm so dinners out are advised unless you eat early.) The food is good with some veggie options and not expensive. The hotel is extremely close to the beach so it's easy to visit and return. It's also a short walk from the main night market and a bunch of restos. I found this place sort of by accident and actually extended our stay. No regrets. I will say I received a discount because I'm a genius member but overall the value seems good.

The wifi is spotty just like everywhere else so I wouldn't count on it for working. However, you should close your laptop and take a dip in the pool instead! :)

Good location: right near the beach, there is a couple of local eateries nearby as well as small shops to get drinks/snacks. You walk about 10 min to the main strip for more restaurants The rooms are not bad. Quite dark. Spacious. The fan super noisy. The best thing by far is the roof pool. The hammocks are heavenly. I spent a lot of time there. The property itself is beautiful too. The surroundings not so much. There’s also quite a lot of dog barking from the neighboring property. They are building a hotel right next to it so not sure whether or not that would affect the view. The staff is super lovely! Especially the ones in the roof top bar! Overall I find it too expensive for what it is. At least I would have appreciated if they included breakfast at that price point

Hotel is very close to the beach and has an outstanding rooftop view of the ocean, with super comfortable hammocks and a nice little swimming pool. Rooms are big, with king size bed, a little terrace and a big bathroom. The hotel is in the wilderness near the beach, so expect some wildlife (iguanas and spiders) to show up. This can be mitigated with upper levels rooms.

Breakfast is "a la carte" and not a great value, but there are many places within 5-10 minutes walk. Overall maintenance should be improved: we remained locked in our room for more than 40 minutes for a lock malfunction. This prompted a room change for an inferior room (no upgrades were available) for one night and then moving back to the same room the day after, and no compensation for this has been made in the bill (not that it was necessary, but usually a small gesture is deemed in these cases). There is a new construction happening right in front of the hotel (wall to wall) so I expect that the light in non corner room could be impacted and maybe the view if the building in front gets taller.

Location is excellent! Close to the beach but quiet, easy walk to zicatelo and to the market street. Needed taxis to Benito Juarez market but only 80 pesos. Rooftop pool has stunning sunset view over the bay! Excellent bartender with great unique cocktails plus classics. Breakfast and food at the bar was also excellent, but there is a lot of competition from surrounding area! Rooms are clean and simple, but to be honest you’ll be out on the town and I doubt you’ll care!

Super nice hotel with a lovely receptionist. She organized us a tour on very short notice and the laundry service was excellent. The beach is just down the road. A lovely hotel to stay at.

The location is a bit off from the turistic center, what is nice for sleeping at night but there are only few possibilities for dinner. However, the first turistic areas are in walking distance.

The location was perfect, 2 mins walk from the beach and exactly in the middle between Zicatela and the town centre. The building is beautiful and very clean, staff super friendly and helpful. Gorgeous roof top swimming pool, amazing views of the ocean. Will 100% stay again. Also cold water fountains on every floor so we used minimum plastic while we stayed

The lack of air con meant it was hot at night time, but we did use the ceiling fan at full speed so there was a breeE through the door. Just meant that we slept with earplugs for the noise, but we both had them with us so not a huge problem!

Gorgeous 1970s era well maintained villa-like hotel with rooftop views of the ocean. Amazing staff at front desk, cleaning staff, and breakfast staff they were all so helpful and kind. The location was great, in walking distance to the smaller popular beaches (20 mins) and to the surfer beach (10 mins).

Could hear the people in the room next door, and due to courtyard facing rooms had to keep the curtains drawn at all times.

Good location. Rooftop area with pool was great. Big hammocks, tables and chairs and a bar. Was a good place to visit with other guests and had a lovely view. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. On site restaurant good service and breakfast. Very tastefully decorated with great paintings on walls and doors.
