Location was perfect!

Employees were not friendly. I was quoted $667.07 by Booking.com & BSEA charged me $688.97 and would not adjust!

The location and view are awesome.

I think guests would rather know that there are 2 sets of stairs inside the room since we brought my mother in law and it was difficult for her to access the kitchen and terrace. It was not shown in the photos nor description before booking the suite and we got disappointed.

Location was awesome, staff was friendly, price was great, loved the pool and the rooms were cozy and clean.

Unobstructed beautiful view of the open ocean directly from the balcony of the room. The pool was big. Beach access within 1 minute of walking distance from the hotel. Room was super clean and specious. Staff was super friendly too and speaks English.

The hallways looked old and shabby.

The view was absolutely fantastic, aircon was doing a very good job keeping us cool in the room, king size bed with perfect mattress very good value for the money despite the overall condition of the room cold do with some refurb. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On your arrival you will be offered tours to various locations, like chichen-itza and isla mujeres. Do recommend booking with hotel as they will organise it very well for you but make sure you book with Javier and avoid lady called Mariah as she tried to rip us off big time. For the price you wont find a better place to stay, we were happy as we only used the room to sleep otherwise we've been out all day.

The restaurant. Expensive, food is nothing special and small portions. Staff not the kindest and yet they do like to get tips. They do have two card machines and they keep trying to use one that dont work to get you pay with cash. Make sure you keeping eye on your card as they did charge me twice on one occasion, when I show them the transactions in my bank app they did a refund. Would like to eat there more offten because of the convenience but we've been better off calling uber and visit other restaurants.

Cancun plaza is a family hotel in the hotel zone. Our room had ocean front views. We had a little kitchen with small dining area overlooking the pool and the beach.

The beds were a bit smaller than they appear in the picture. We especially didnt like the ambush selling by the Guest Info personnel. We just checked in after a long day of travelling. Eventhough we tried telling her that we wanted to think more about what she was offering, she was so adamant that we had to get it. So pushy. Later that night, I checked on the activity’s website. They actually have a deal. We could have bought the tickets with the Captain Hook’s 29th Anniversary Promo at $128 USD, instead of paying almost $300 USD through the hotel.🤦🏻‍♀️

The condo style hotel with ocean front balconies is a true gem. The breathtaking views from the balconies are unparalleled, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop for a relaxing stay. The sound of the ocean waves and the gentle sea breeze create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of nature. The hotel's location provides easy access to the beach, allowing guests to seamlessly transition from their luxurious accommodations to the sandy shores. There attentive staff ensures that every need is met, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Right on the beach, easy access to the bus lines. All the staff is bilingual and the exchange rates offered by the hotel were pretty fair. I'm a picky traveler and I'd repeat this place again if I wanted to save a ton of money on a beachfront hotel.

Cash deposit required but wasn't announced anywhere. Pool towels are exchanged in the front lobby and they run out sometimes. Room was top floor but it was 3 levels with a very narrow spiral staircase.

The rooms have a great view on the beach, it was clean and spacious especially when comparing the price with other hotel. The hotel has a very simple design which makes it easy to navigate, though some rooms are accessible only through steep staircases, to keep in mind for the elderly and disabled. One thing I really liked was a free safe in the room, that's really rare and appreciated. This is an hotel with a few annoying quirks but due to the relatively low cost you'll definition get a lot for your money.

Wi-fi is probably the biggest problem. It does not reach the rooms so if you're someone with a business like me who needs to answer emails and send documents daily, you'll have to go to the first floor garden to do it. English was also fairly limited with the staff, but enough to get basic information. The restaurant is quite overpriced and the options slims. If you want to get anything to eat I recommend taking the red buses higher north to the more popular zone to get both better option and prices.

My room was absolutely fantastic!!!!! Except for the steep stairs at the entrance, but it was manageable to bring suitcases slowly. Other than that, I had 2 floors for myself basically. Lots of space!!!!! The view was breathtaking, the ac worked with no problem, the location was pretty good. And the beach was much closer than it looked in the photos.

The staff could be a bit friendlier. The waiters at the restaurant were good, and the service was fast. But when it comes to paying for it, I think the check could be brought to the table instead of going to the bar to pay every time. And maybe the bill could be set to your room, it would be easier to pay for everything at once at the checkout I believe. Upon checking out I had to wait for about 10-15 minutes while they go and check the room to make sure I didn’t break or steal anything so that they could return my safety deposit. It was an amazing place but it felt like everyone was hungry for money.
