We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in this exceptional historic place. Although a bit remote from the main touristic areas in the peninsula - but easily reachable by car - it is an immensely charming property managed by wonderful staff. Rooms are huge, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is great and we'd recommend booking the half-board option to enjoy a great traditional on-site dinner. Make sure to spend some time wandering around the hacienda and relax by the pool - it's all part of the experience!

The entire hotel, garden and everything around is great! Beautiful colored historical setup outside, very good and comfortable deco and equipment in the room. Super nice home made breakfast, lunch and drinks!

The hotel can only be accessible via a small road, and there are curruppted local police waiting there to terririse and rob you off even in the middle of the day… So be careful if you are not from Mexico...

Very nice rooms with beautiful patios in the back, incl. semi-private pools! Lush tropical gardens!

Not regarding the hotel directly: watch out for the local police - they pulled us over for "speeding", took away my drivers licence and wanted a bribe before giving it back. So make sure you dont give the police any reason to pull you over amd dont carry around too much cash!

A gorgeous and peaceful escape! The staff were amazing and attentive, the breakfast perfect! The beds are to die for..... we did not want to get out! My partner and I only stayed for a day and night, but everything was lovely. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner and our own private plunge pool in the suite. Ask for a tour from Miguel: he has been with the property for 15 years and can walk you around the hacienda and grounds and explain the history. If you like henequen handicrafts, ask where the local women work there in the pueblo of Santa Rosa, and you can buy a variety of handicrafts directly from them and see how it's made.

The staff here was very welcoming, helpful and nice. Room was big. I had a cocktail on the veranda at sunset, was up on calls at 0630am (dark) in the veranda and could ask for coffee, I stayed for a late checkout in the pool. The staff was always helpful and nice. A much nicer human touch that at Hacienda Temozon. I used the pool in the afternoon.

parking under the tree in front of the veranda left a lot of yellow flowers on the car. Maybe a car shelter? We had to reboot the wifi router at 630am, although I had checked it would work the night before.

The hotel is a beautifully restored Hacienda and the rooms are large and luxurious. The staff were all helpful. We spent 4 days there and had an excellent time.

The location is a bit remote and there are no nearby restaurants after 4 days we got a little bored of the menu.

We loved Hacienda Santa Rosa and stayed there for 3 nights. It’s the village people working there that make you feel it is part of a community. We had a great guided tour through the property, the Botanical gardens, plus a meeting with the local shaman. Their Tamarind Margarita was fierce and it is a very beautiful place in general. Perfect hospitality with a lot of heart from the wonderful team there.

Only thing that we would suggest is to hang up mosquito nets in every room - we installed our own since bugs kept falling down from the very high ceiling of the room.

The breakfast was great and there were lots of options for the free breakfast included in the room rate.

Staff and grounds are amazing

Not the resort’s fault but the neighbor was blasting music ALL night long. They switched us to a suite and the staff made it just right. Excellent service
