Beautiful riad in the the middle of Asilah old medina. Mohammed who works at the front desk was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and calling a taxi for our early morning flight. Keep in mind that reception is not always staffed, but you can contact them by phone if they’re not around. The lady who does breakfast and cleaning did a great job too, the fresh breads and Moroccan tea were delicious.

Can be difficult to find because taxis cannot enter the Riad - make sure you mark down the location or ask locals to direct you. Breakfast could be improved by offering fresh fruit.

The entry and common area were a beautiful prelude to a very beautifully decorated room with colored windows to the courtyard and Medina. The staff was very hospitable and even took us to his mothers bakery for some delicious sweets at our request. Nice to be able to make coffee in the shared kitchen when we woke up in the morning.

Very little. It was wonderful. Only the rain during our stay kept us from enjoying the beach as we had hoped.

It was a lovely spacious room with an extra bed for my toddler which was great. The room had aircon which when its 40 odd degrees outside was hugely appreciated. They have a little comunal kitchen with a cooker, tea and coffee facilities and a fridge which is well stocked and clean. Breakfast was lovely and they even served us breakfast earlier than normal the second day as we had to leave early. Good hot water pressure in the bathroom.

There were only a few small things which wouldn't put me off staying there again, but worth mentioning. The bins in our room werent emptied at all during our stay, and after a few hours we had little ants in the bathroom due to this. Also, the entrance very often smelt of cigarette smoke.

The staff are very helpful, excellent location in the medina, good wifi, clean but an older place, nice roof deck, easy check-in and good communication.

Must pay cash, which raised the daily price by 20% for me due to ATM charges . Was quoted 35 Euros for the 25km ride to the airport. There is a real industry in Asilah and Tangiers of taxis charging crazy prices to (taking advantage of) travellers. To avoid this download Inroute the free Uber type app that works in this area.

Riad Aicha is perfectly located in the pretty Kasbah and heart of Asilah. There are many nice shops and unique boutiques around and the sea is just next to it. Our host was super kind, he even got us bean soup for breakfast that we wanted to try. The breakfast in general was yummy and we had it on the very nice rooftop terrace.

There was nothing to complain about.

I like the idea of staying in a Riad even as a Moroccan and Riad Aicha did not disappoint. We enjoyed the rooms, the breakfast in the rooftop terrace and also the proximity to the shops. The place was not too noisy and within walking distance to all interesting places of interest Siham and Ahmed were excellent hosts and helped with any question.

The Medina is beautiful and the accommodation lovely. Beautiful couple that run the place and loved chatting with us. Their English was great and knowledge of the area fascinating. Highly recommend

The only thing is you park outside the Medina so cart your bags however it’s only a 300m walk so no biggie and the car is safe. People will direct you if you get lost. Your the Medina yourself it’s not that large and great for photos People will walk with you talking - you now have a guide and will be expected to pay handsomely at the end. Just politely say you want to look yourself and not paying for a guide

This riad is very beautiful, our room was light and spacious. The rooftop terrace is nice and sunny. The location in the medina is nice and easy to reach. It was quiet at night. Staff was very friendly. We only stayed 1 night but would have loved to stay longer!

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. the position is ideal. We parked our car outside the walls close to Bab Al Homar. There is one of this guarda that asked us to pay 20 dirham per day.

I’m sorry to say because I understand that is a Riad and after I told Mohammed he tried to fix the issue. There is a strong smell of humidity. I think it depends ok how much you are sensitive to smells. My partner wasn’t bothered too much. For me, the smell was too much. I asked to change room but it wasn’t possible so Mohammed offered to clean again the room, he added some air fresheners and we kept the window open the whole day and in the evening was better. The important thing is that apparently in November 2022 they are going to do some maintenance work to fix the issue so probably this comment will be redundant.
