The breakfast offered was lovely everyday, and they kindly provided a complimentary traditional Moroccan meal for my partners birthday. So food overall was 10/10. Also we had a problem in which we had been allocated a standard room rather than a Superior room like on our booking, but the staff were super lovely and helped us make the swap quickly and with ease.

The location is off backstreets so when you first arrivce you feel a bit disquiet, however when you step into the hotel it is a different vibe completely, with peaceful music and a lovely smell. Alongside this the street itself was very noisy and night 1 we barely slept as there was a band playing at like 2am and people talking loudly all night, however this isnt the fault of the hotel. Once we moved rooms the upstairs was very peaceful and very easy to have a good nights sleep :)

The Art House Cinema hotel was a perfect getaway destination. The room was clean, the breakfast sumblime, Tarik and the team were welcoming and efficient. Anything you needed such as a airport transfer or Spa could be booked at a moment's notice. The location was fantastic, (situated at the end of the Medina), it was so handy. This also allowed for a glimpse into the daily life of the locals.

The bathroom was stunning. It was a tiled traditional design, however after every shower (no screen or curtain), the tile floor was water soaked, meaning whatever you later needed to do in the bathroom was done in a puddle of water.

Nice hotel - it is in the a little bit more poorer part of Essa, but still in walking distance to all facilities. Staff very friendly and supportive! Helping to carry luggage up and down. Typycal Medina Hotel style.

Rooms could be decorated a bit nicer. All rooms have more beds, than needed - my one three beds, so no room for a table and chair or a suitcase rack.

We recently stayed at Art House in Essaouira and had a delightful experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the amazing and diverse breakfast served each day, adding a delightful touch to the stay. The hotel's location, a mere 15-minute walk from the beach, provided both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The vibe of Art House exuded a cool and unique charm, making my stay truly memorable. The staff, including Ocama, Mustafa and especially Salah were exceptionally friendly and helpful, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere. Their warmth and assistance enhanced the overall quality of my stay, making it a truly lovely experience. I highly recommend Art House for those seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay in Essaouira.

Only downside was due to the season - cold and high humidity. An electric heater or similar would have been very nice for the cold evenings.

All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They helped us so much throughout our stay and always ensured that we were comfortable. A massive thank you to Mustafa and Salah who have been the best hosts! The view from the roof was phenomenal and we enjoyed eating breakfast there while appreciating the gorgeous view & clear skies. Breakfast was different everyday and tasted incredible. The rooms were spacious and very clean, whilst also having aesthetically pleasing furniture. The whole riad embodied the traditions and spirit of Essaouira and I definitely will be returning after such a pleasurable stay.

due to the fact that the riad is located within the heart of the medina, the streets can get a little loud at night if there is cultural/ religious festivities taking place. If you are someone who appreciates their peace and quiet and night, I recommend staying when there are no festivals happening.

This hotel has been impeccable in every sense of the word. The hosts and staff were super friendly and helpful offering me tea and coffee everytime I left my room haha, they were happy to sit and have a chat with the guests sharing tips on what to visit in Essaouira and the lovely places to dine in as well as just talk about life. As for the hotel itself, everything was perfect, the second floor terrasse, where the delicious breakfast is held, overlooked the magnificient streets of the old medina while the third floor terrasse offered a much larger view of the city. The room and its ensuite bathroom were both spacious and neat with a lovely Moroccan theme. This hotel has made my trip to the splendid city of Essaouira a true wonder, I recommend it 100%.

Breakfast was surprisingly good and plentiful. They tried to, or did, accommodate my requests. But note, they have no idea how to make an omelette. Which was kinda odd. Each time I got a different 'mixture', shall we say. Good location in the Old Medina. It is a little hard to find, but persevere. I would rate Arthouse as probably the 2nd best place to stay in the Medina, and when one considers how expensive the nicest place is, then Arthouse shifts up to No 1

Location was noisy at night up until around 11pm, just generally with kids playing and men talking. From that time to 9am, very quiet. Note that the men in Morocco talk VERY loudly, and it sounds aggressive to my ear. However, that's just the way it is.

Everything about our stay was outstanding, from the friendly welcome everything just got better and better. Our room was large and very clean and comfortable. It was on ground floor, at our request (aging bones!!), the room was quiet we were not disturbed by any noise from outside. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom spotless, well supplied with shampoo, soap etc, water pressure very good and water is consistently hot. Having been a bit cautious when booking in case of steep stairs, due to design of staircases they were quite manageable and we made good use of the roof terrace, including enjoying our breakfast there in the sunshine. Breakfast was a daily feast. Always different breads, my personal favourite a light flaky flatbread, lovely with honey. Cheese, cold meats, omelette, scrambled eggs, savoury vegetable tarts, always some kind of pastry or cake (imagine chocolate cake with pears and chocolate sauce - part of breakfast on day one.😆). Not every item every day, but a wide range each day with good variation. Always fresh orange juice, and great coffee. But it's always the staff that make or break an hotel. Well, the staff here are the most hospitable, kind, friendly and caring we've ever met ❤️ This was particularly demonstrated when I fell when out for a walk. Nothing serious, just a badly grazed knee. Returned to hotel to ask for a plaster, within minutes I'm having very efficient first aid carried out, my knee is cleaned and dressed, and this continued until fully healed. One of the staff said they like to see their guests as family. That is certainly how we felt. ❤️❤️ We can't wait to return.

A very nice and clean establishment with all the Staff being very service oriented, always asking if I need anything. They served me coffee early as requested and provided a great breakfast each morning. They cleaned my room every day and the terrace is very nice and comfortable.

The bathroom could use a shower curtain. Also a chair in the room would be nice.

A very lovely riad with amazing staff that took care of your every need. They met us where the taxi dropped us off and helped us arrange airport shuttles. We couldn't have asked for a better place to end our Morocco vacation. Breakfast was fantastic and we loved all the staff. Tea and coffee is free during your stay and it is accompanied with the most delicious Moroccan cookies. Thank you, Tariq, Sallah, Mustafa and Co for the wonderful time!
