Nice breakfast - more than enough. Lovely staff - the girls were also extremely helpful. Beautiful grounds and historic building - an oasis in what is actually a modern part of Fez. Room was fairly small but adequate, and very pretty traditional decor.

The area was a long way from the ancient medina. Booking.com site etc talk about the Medina, but you should note that the modern Medina is a fairly long way (2 miles) from the ancient medina that everyone wants to visit. Traffic can be bad. Taxi is best but it's a hassle and there is nothing in the modern medina area of any interest except modern cafe's serving ice-cream and crepes + burgers. All very european / american, which is not what most 'travellers' to Morocco are looking for, in my opinion.

The property is very well maintained and the hosts and staff were wonderful! The host was very helpful in finding a guide and a driver for us to visit the Fes Medina. We had a wonderful Moroccan cooking lesson with Nadia, and ate wonderful food there during our stay. The room was comfy and spacious with an outdoor patio. Breakfast food was plentiful! You also have the option to have dinner at the Riad. The best Moroccan food we had during our 12 day trip!!!!

The staff seemed a little disorganized at breakfast. Brought the juice but no glasses. Brought yogourt but no spoons, etc. just need to put everything on the main table in advance so guests don’t have to keep asking for items. Otherwise, the staff was great and accommodating. Choukran 🙏🏻

The house was wonderful, with a really nice garden and pool. I loved all the constructive details and the house is well-placed. The employees of the guest house were really helpful and friendly specially when it came to a special situation due my ill my partner.

Low intimacy, the room is not isolated from the noise outdoors so it can feel a bit unintimate specially when there are people outside but also when you're at the toilet for example what can be a bit annoying ;-D

Can't thank the staff enough. We should up without booking and they were so helpful to accommodate. My thanks to Asmah who looked after my family so well. Location is ideal with or without a car. Parking on road with ample spaces. Tidy location so its all safe. Nice places to eat just up the road a few minutes walk. Not close to medina but we used combination of our own car or sometimes booked taxi with inDrive app so it's a fixed fee and easier to travel with more than 3 ppl nas normal taxis are 3 persons only

Nothing. I'm surprised is was a quiet hotel as its reasonably priced and decent safe location. Any persons booking with family is better staying in this area as closer to medina not ideal woth family I'd say

Staff was great. Room was clean and a great size. Pool looked really good but too cold for a swim. Internet was sufficient. Breakfast was pretty good. Location is in the “new city”, maybe a 25 minute walk from the Medina. More modern area, not a lot of Moroccan restaurants very close. It depends on what you want. If you want to spend all day in the Medina, this isn’t a great spot. We did tours of the Medina and middle atlas and were picked up at the Riad, so wasn’t a huge deal for us. This was at the end of our trip and we actually enjoyed a little break from the Medina and Moroccan food anyways!

The host was charming. The setting was absolutely wonderful.- 'a garden inside' with a swimming pool, hammocks and places to sit and read, our room had a balcony. The bathroom was not as modern but as it was all so charming - was not an issue at all. The traditional Moroccan dinner was excellent, also the breakfast. The host booked us a guide of Fes and the Medina. DO NOT GO INTO THE FES MEDINA WITHOUT A GUIDE!

This Riad did NOT take cards. We had to go to an ATM for extra cash to pay. We were not informed how much the dinner would be, so although it was delicious, I feel we were over charged. Would be nice to have had a map of Fes, we did not know where to go for dinner on the second night, In Morrocco it seems that the best restaurants are all hidden. You need more cash in Fes

We received a warm welcome from the owner and his family on our arrival. Despite being in a convenient city location, the Riad Dar Ziryab was like a quiet oasis. The entire Riad was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful with a view of the pool. We were able to relax in the lovely garden and listen to the birdsong. We had a delicious home made dinner. The owner's nephew was most helpful and spent time chatting to us in English. There was a good choice of warm bread and pastry for breakfast.

We really enjoyed listening and speaking with Mr. Hutch. A very interesting person. We loved his riad and learning of its history. Large, quiet, safe and clean room. We had excellent wi-fi throughout the riad. Many cool spots to enjoy the peace and quiet within. A very good breakfast and excellent staff. We could not have been happier. Far exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, peaceful oasis in Fes. Highly recommended!

There was nothing we didn't like.

The architecture of the place is amazing and the owner is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. On arrival he told us the best places to visit, together with a little bit of history and architecture of the place. Really interesting and helpful. Didn't get the chance to try the kitchen for dinner but I heard it is amazing.

Extras such as teas, coffees and water are expensive. Better to buy them outside the Ryad.

This Riad is beautifully decorated. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are attentive and pleasant. Breakfast is served in a lovely garden with roses.

The Riad is in the centre of the Ville Nouvelle, which offers the chance of a relatively calm place to which to return. However, one needs to take a taxi to get to the Medina (although this is cheap and not difficult) and there is some street noise.
