Riad Azia is fabulous. We were met at the airport by Monsef a lovely young guy who drove us the 15 mins to Riad Azia and then greeted by Ahmed with a lovely cup of mint tea and homemade biscuit. Ahmed told us about the area and things to do and gave us a map to plan our day, Ahmed is very knowledgeable and is great fun to talk to. The Riad is spotlessly clean and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, exactly as advertised. The medina and souks are a10 min taxi ride from the Riad and Ahmed or his team are happy to arrange one for you with one of the preferred drivers ( you can then speak to the driver and arrange your trip back) Ok now the best bit!!! The food served is fantastic, we loved every single meal without exception, all traditional and homemade, we loved it. There is so much we could say in praise of this lovely place but I would encourage you to come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed. We did touristy things, we read, we relaxed, we had Moroccan tea brought up to the roof top, we sat by the pool and had a dip and just relaxed in the peace and quiet. Thank you to Ahmed, Issam, Chaime and all the staff for making our first trip to Morocco so perfect and memorable...we will be back x

Coming home

We enjoyed every bit of it, especially the warm welcome and availability of the staff, Ahmed & the entire staff. Very helpful with information out Marrakech and how to move around. Our room and the whole facility was very spacious, clean and well arranged. The breakfast is fresh and made at the moment, really delicious.

Nothing, everything was perfect! Only little thing is that the swimming pool, which was very beautiful, was a little bit cold when the sun was not directly on it, but it seems they are all like that in Marrakech.

From the moment we booked Riad Azia, we felt happy with our choice. There was immediate communication from the hotel to arrange a free transfer from the airport. The facilities were better than expected and food was delicious. Amazing breakfasts and we could order three courses for lunch and dinner, the menu changed daily. Probably the best part of our time at the Riad was the staff. Every member of staff we met was friendly and very helpful, especially Ahmed and Shaimaa. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is thinking of travelling to Marrakech. It is a short distance by taxi or local bus (5 dirhams) from the Medina, this is a positive as the Medina can be hectic and noisy. We really hope to return with our children next time

Riad Azia is a little oasis and place of calm amongst the bustle of busy life in Marrakesh. Our room was always spotless as was the rest of the Riad and it was great having the swimming pool and plunge pool onsite to cool off after a busy day. Aissam and Ahmed were always happy to help with any issues that we had and the excursions we booked with them to Agafay and the waterfalls were brilliant. The lovely ladies who cooked our meals were amazing too and fully accommodated our veg/vegan diet. The breakfasts were definitely a highlight as was the veg tajine

The food was a massive highlight. All meals were great and a different menu was served for lunch and dinner every day. They were also super-flexible with eating times. The entire Riad and pool area were lovely, we could've quite happily never left the hotel!

It can be awkward travelling to other areas. Public transport is virtually non-existent so you're reliant on taxis. The staff were very helpful arranging cheap taxis to go out, but heading back can be awkward. The Medina is walkable but not pleasant in high heat.

Amazing building, quite location, best staff

We had the most amazing stay at Riad Azia. The Riad is very authentic and the staff were excellent. Aissam, Khalid and Ahmed were welcoming, friendly and provided exceptional customer service. They were easy to contact and available at all hours. They recommended lots of activities and responded to all our queries efficiently. The breakfast provided at the stay was delicious and I would recommend this place!

It was slightly far outside the medina so we had to get cabs but the staff were able to book these for us with ease. They also provided a cheap shuttle service as an alternative. The swimming pool was closed for cleaning. The rooms could have been bigger

An absolute oasis. Highly highly recommend this property. It is around 10 minutes from the medina, but the transport there and back (for free) helps a lot! All the staff were honestly so accommodating, I couldn’t think of one bad thing about this property, the service we received was second to none. My heartfelt Thankyou to everyone at the riad for being so accommodating, and making mine and my husbands stay amazing. The breakfast, the rooms, the service, I really can’t fault it. Thankyou Karim and everyone else at the riad for your outstanding service. Genuine people who genuinely do want you to have a fantastic time.

Really friendly welcome by staff - all staff made us really feel at home and were super helpful. One staff member even got up early to make us breakfast on our last day, which was really lovely and very much appreciated before a long trip! Good sized rooms with big comfortable bed. We enjoyed having an afternoon coffee on the rooftop and watching the sunset.The food was good and very traditional and freshly cooked - we particularly enjoyed sides and breakfast. We went to the hotel for a little break from the busy Medina and found it much quieter than the centre. It was close to a golf club and spa which were nice to visit for an afternoon. There is also a few eateries/cafes and a food shop very near by. We didn't go to the airport from the riad, but it was only a 7 minute drive.

We went for all inclusive, but this is more like full board where you order your dishes the day before from a daily menu. It's a nice place to relax, but there wasn't much atmosphere in the main areas/at meal times. There's not a lot going on in the area, but good if you want to escape the busy Medina.

The Riad was spotlessly clean and very peaceful from the moment we stepped inside away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The staff members could not do more to help with anything we needed, Ahmed Miftah and Issam were there whenever we needed anything. We stayed at Riad Azia for 4 nights on an all inclusive basis and the food we were served during our stay was real authentic Moroccan, home cooked food, every meal was delicious. The decor is to very high standard with gorgeous rugs and comfortable sofas, and always smells so fresh and clean. The Riad is very close to a well stocked general store so if there’s anything else you need you can find it there. We will definitely return as we feel so relaxed and refreshed after such a lovely break.
