The breakfast was large and enjoyed , the tortoises were wondering around but not a hazard and the staff were kind and helpful. To fly out of Marrakesh, you need your tickets printed and Abdel was happy to help, with this and everything. Upon arrival, we were asked if we wanted a massage, and we said yes ; it was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. 2 minutes from the palace and 10 minutes from the main square.

A beautiful traditional Riad located in the heart of Marrakesh. Riad Bayti maintains a peaceful and serene atmosphere allowing for a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the many markets of Marrakesh. For a first time visit to Morocco, I was extremely nervous but was put at ease almost immediately by the lovely staff who work there. Abdel the Riad manager is very helpful, friendly and reassuring. He makes sure to supply you with important tips and knowledge, and he can also support to book you onto well organised excursions as well as book taxis for transport. My family chose to visit Ourika Valley/Atlas Mountains, Abdel himself came on the excursion with us to support us! The other Riad staff (unfortunately cannot remember all of their names) including cleaners, hosts, cooks, allocated taxi drivers were equally as kind. Very respectful towards our privacy and although did not speak much English - they always served us with a smile! The kind older man who works in the evening made us laugh with his jokes :) In terms of what is offered, the breakfast is prepared fresh every day with traditional Moroccan items such as bread, jams, yoghurts, pudding and mint tea. There is a pool in the sitting area which you may use without worry and a terrace on the roof equipped with lounge beds, chairs and fresh towels. Bedrooms are exceptionally tidy and observed to be cleaned everyday. For people reading this review who are new to Marrakesh or anxious about visiting, this Riad will look after you well. My family will definitely be visiting this Riad again for many more times to come. Thankyou so much to all staff for hosting such an enjoyable and memorable holiday for us!

Nothing.

As soon as we arrived we were given complementary Moroccan tea and biscuits which was such a warm friendly welcome to the Riad. The location is brilliant - felt very safe even coming back late at night. Loved being in the spice market and the Riad is easy to find. Jmaa el fnaa is a straight walk and took around 15 minutes, badi/Bahia palaces are 5 minutes away. Location meant we were able to walk everywhere. We had breakfast here everyday which was very good value and set us up for the day. We were in a standard double room which was very comfortable and well furnished with air conditioning and room service cleaned daily. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Abdul was always helpful and he came to the taxi to pick us up when we got there and dropped us off when we left. These touches were much appreciated by us and we felt well looked after.

We found the excursions costly - we booked the Atlas mountains through the Riad. Agufay dessert we booked through booking.com and it was half the price. Both excursions we enjoyed but book yourself to save money.

The turtles!! The staff were amazing and very helpful at all times. The woman work SO hard there all day long. Near tinnerman square which was safe for morocco standards. Such a gorgeous property and I loved both the rooftop chaises and the foot pool. Honestly this riad was the best part about marrakesh. We loved coming back and just relaxing and having a nice siesta in the room and then taking pictures at all hours. I wouldn’t miss this riad. Marrakesh is a nightmare for 2 tall females, but the entire time I was at the riad we felt safe, taken care of, and relaxed. I also really enjoyed the breakfast and as a veggie, I had 0 issues.

No complaints! But it is down a dark alleyway, so something to be cautious of.

I think the most important thing in any hotel is people. We came from a long journey and it was a nice to be met right at the taxi stop by the gentleman from this Riad. So we did not have to search for the riad in the Medina. Abdel, Yusuf and cooking and cleaning ladies are very nice people. At the evening we asked for the tea, and Yusuf brew it for us; as well as other ladies, always ready to make us happy. Thank you for the whole team of Riad Bayti. You made our stay wonderful.

The Riad is located inside the Medina, which is old types of bazaar. If you used to modern style city hotel, this Riad is not. To get to the Riad you need to walk through narrow old streets which sometimes have unpleasant smell and garbage all around.

Excellent central location with easy access to the Medina/Marketplace/restaurants. Place is a little hidden, but rooms/common spaces are charming and clean. The owner is an incredible host and was kind enough to prepare us a special breakfast before our early departure one morning. Great communication prior to the day of arrival. The Riad has a lovely rooftop area that gives you some limited views of the city, but is also a nice area to get away from the hustle and bustle of the market. The square close to the Riad is also a good pickup place if you end up booking any excursions. I have nothing but high praise for the facility and the management/owner are very dedicated to their guests. We had some issues with one of the excursion companies that we had booked and the management at Riad Bayti were very helpful in providing some resolution to the situation.

The Riad was a safe haven in the midst of the craziness. We felt at home. The staff were exceptional. So kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out to the ladies!! And our dear older gentleman who got us wine when we needed it! The room was large and clean. The decor so authentic. The pool was a godsend after walking the hot medina. The location in the Jewish quarter of the souk was perfect and close to transport and restaurants.

The only minor issue was a few days into our stay there was an influx of French guests who seemed to be family / friends of the owner who was staying most of the time we were there. We felt we were intruding on a private gathering. Maybe not book other people if there is a private large group. The owner made no effort to make us feel welcome.

We loved staying here, the place is beautiful and everyone was so welcoming. We arrived short notice and early to some tea while we filled out the paperwork, then we were brought to our room which was clean and everything we expected. The included breakfast was delicious and set us up well for our day exploring Marrakech. The location was perfect to explore on foot and it was fast enough away from the busy areas to be quiet, but close enough to enjoy with only a few minutes walk. We were here as a couple but we saw families staying here, in fact our room had an extra room with bunk beds so it would also be a great place to stay with kids.

Nothing bad to say at all. The only thing that we could suggest are instructions on how to get to the front door. Taxis cannot drop you off at the door, you have to walk through the souk but we had trouble the first time finding which road to turn down. However if you took advantage of the airport transfer they can arrange, then someone might be able to show you the way. Instead we took a taxi, got dropped off at the traffic circle then had to find our way through the souk using Google maps.

All the staff at Riad Bayti were super friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic - a little difficult to find down a narrow pedestrianised alley but Abdul came to find us from where the taxi dropped us. Once there, we were 1 minute walk from the main square so easy to head back during the day for a chill on the roof terrace before heading out again. The rooms were large, plenty of space, good air conditioning. Breakfast was good quality and traditional.

Hard to find anything we didn't like so I'm being really picky here...we had a double room that had bunk beds in, it would have been nice to have a sofa instead of bunk beds. The bed was very hard which worked for us but not if you like a soft bed!

What can I say, our experience at Riad Bayti exceeded our expectations, we couldn't have asked for anything better! First of all, the location: right in the middle of the spice souk, a few steps from Jemaa el-Fnaa square and many meeting points for organized experiences. The Riad is simply fabulous, well-kept and clean and in the typical style of Moroccan homes. Bright colors, decorated carpets and cushions, a comfortable swimming pool and the spectacular terrace, magnificently furnished, where you can enjoy relaxation at any time of the day. The breakfast is excellent and varied, it includes many typical Moroccan dishes both sweet and savory, served directly at the table. We also had lunch at the Riad one day, trying the tajine and other typical dishes, what can I say, in line with the quality of the place, everything good and tasty. Furthermore, both upon arrival and before departure, we were served tea and typical Moroccan sweets. The strong point, however, is Abdel and his staff: disarmingly kind, always ready to accommodate every request with a smile. We forgot to ask the names of the staff, but I mention the boy who served breakfast, sweet and kind, as well as the cook in the kitchen, always cheerful, her affectionate ways reminded me of my mother. The other people on the staff were also kind and always available to make the stay as comfortable as possible. My partner hasn't been feeling great in the last few days, Abdel brought dinner to our room, asked us if we had any medicine, in short, it really felt like being with family! This friendly attitude, thanks to the "very open" structure of the Riad, allowed us to interact in a friendly way with the other guests. Now I understand what the people who spoke to me about Moroccan hospitality meant, kindness is the watchword! Thank you Abdel and all the staff, we hope to be able to visit you soon! 🇮🇹🫶🏻🇲🇦
