Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help/assist you (even from the moment of arrival, with a staff member collecting us from the taxi to walk us to the Riad (most of the old town medina, is not accessible by car) - we felt very welcome indeed - One staff member who really deserves a mention is the young lady (whose name i don’t want to spell incorrectly) who was there everyday of our stay, her attention to detail was fab, and is a real gem to the Riad. The room was very clean and decorated to a good standard. Each morning, we had our breakfast which was plentiful and a good mix of items - again, the attentive staff already know your preferences for breakfast (which we had upstairs on the peaceful terrace - of which includes 2 additional ‘staff’ - the resident tortoises who are very cute!). But despite us on two mornings (having our breakfast late at 12pm, and another time we had an ‘adaptive’ offering considering we had already had breakfast as part of our 4am wake up for a hot air balloon trip (Definitely recommend if able as it was a true highlight!), nothing was a problem or issue. We didn’t use the spa as didn’t have time, but they have an extensive spa offering with a wide arrange of treatments, also can help organise various activities/guides for you as well if needed. Also having a bar in the Riad is helpful, as most places don’t serve any alcohol in Marrakesh. There is also a member of staff at the Raid 24/7, so even if you need something in the middle of the night, they are happy to help you. Communication is great, as once you check in, you are added to a private whats app group for your room number, which is just for you and the staff, so useful for any questions or requests you may have. They also have decent WiFi speeds (which is useful as data usage is very expensive in Morocco (and not in the usual mobile plans).

This isn’t a negative, but a consideration if you have limited walking or mobility issues (as you do have to walk approx. 5 mins from an area a car can reach you to get to or from the Riad). Most of the rooms are upstairs (but they do have one downstairs room you could request, as there are no lifts). But if specifically needed, I’m sure it won’t be an issue to request it (the Riad from the spa in the basement, to the roof terrace is 6 flights of stairs (over 5 floors).

The breakfast is served beautifully fresh every morning and the food is delicious, it's very traditional, don't expect english breakfast tea! The staff were super helpful and kind with everything we asked of them, Shorouk and Yassin were the best hosts and helped to arrange all our reservations, taxis and spa treatments. The food and drinks were always served professionally and freshly made in the Riad. The Riad is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures and immaculate everywhere you go. The spa is small, but the traditional treatments were an amazing experience and very reasonably priced.

Theres only one mirror in the bathroom which makes getting ready a little tricky as the lighting is very dark in the bedroom. Exchanging cash euros into dirham in the riad isn't really an official set-up so would recommend getting money exchanged in souks at an exchange shop instead. The pool and the hot tub aren't heated, so out of the hot season it's pretty cold but that didn't bother me.

We were met by a smart uniformed porter at the entrance to the Medina and walked through to the hotel, welcomed with mint tea and biscuits. Lovely roof top terrace where we enjoyed evening drinks watching the superb sunset and excellent breakfasts. We had dinner two evenings and the food was excellent, though service was very, very slow.

WhatsApp group for all ordering and communications, sometimes this worked very well but other times if no one was looking at the group it could take a long time to get refreshments. We booked a Deluxe room, our room was nice but not as Deluxe as expected. We pre-ordered dinner both evenings for 8pm, second evening it took over an hour before any food arrived, they apologised but no offer of any compensation for such slow service and we were the only people eating!

The rooftop is the absolute star of this Riad. A gorgeous pool and sun lounngers with towels and hats provided were the perfect calm break from the hussle and bustle of the souks. The location is great for wanting to stay in the medina but not on top of everything. The spa facilities were brilliant, definitely get a Hammam.

Breakfast included is delicious, however we didn't have option and my friend doesn't eat certain foods therefore was a bit diffucult for her. Location is great for a lot of things, however it's a good 45 minute walk to certain restaurants and there's not really another option within the medina, so as long as you're up for walking, it's fine.

The riad was an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The staff throughout the stay were incredible, assisting us at every turn. Migou was an exceptional host along with all of his colleagues. The traditional breakfasts were a great start to the day. The riad is a clear 5 star option for your trip. Located perfectly for trips to the souks and also excursions. The roof top was the perfect addition to the accommodation. Marrakech can be a rather daunting place when you first arrive however the staff were there to assist at every step of the way, even accompanying us to a taxi at 4:40am without us even asking. I can not recommend this riad enough and suggest you to book it immediately.

Absolutley nothing. It was perfect.

- When you arrive you are welcomed with a smile and some Moroccan tea - The Riad is so pretty, it has a really nice plunge pool (it's cold but refreshing!!) and roof terrace - The staff are absolutely amazing, they literally cannot do enough for you. (I can't emphasise this enough) - Really nice massage experience - Our room was stunning! - Positioning in the Medina - really easy to go out exploring all the shops and stalls and set away from all the noise - Breakfast!

- There was some building work going on which was quite loud early in the morning - would be nice to know about this prior to visiting, it wasn't a problem but would have been a little annoying if we hadn't gone out exploring in the day! (Appreciate this can't be helped!) - At first the location seems a little strange as it is down some tiny alleyways which isn't the best first impression if you aren't expecting it. Once we got used to it, it is fine!!

Fantastic decoration of the room, comfortable four poster bed, exquisite breakfast with everything you want and more (the orange juice was perfect). Ahlam, Adil and Khalid went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable and had great experiences. Our cooking session with the chef to make tajine, zaalouk and tektouka was unforgettable. We felt at home and loved everything. At the end of the hot days of visiting it was such a pleasure to soak in the pool. On a special note on arrival one of us had a serious tooth infection and we were amazed by the care and the help to find treatment in the Medina in Marrakesh.

Room size was good, bathroom good size and hot water even for bathing. Very comfy 2*2m bed! Good quality linen and pillows.

There is absolutely no sound insulation. You hear everything what is happening outside and vice versa everyone hears everything what's happens in the room. Difficult to sleep without earplugs. This is the only reason, I would never return. Historical style room locks are extremely noisy. Basically the only hope is to sleep between 23.00-07.00. Even then you hear all outside noises.
