The Hotel is very well located and has an exceptional view. It is very quiet, no street noise whatsoever. The bed is very comfortable. The internet works perfectly. All the staff are really wonderful. I am looking forward to staying there again during my next trip to Maputo.

One thing that could be improved would be the shower in the bathroom as there is only the "rain" option. The Hotel provides a shower cap, but it would be nice to have the option to adapt it to the desired height. Still, this is just a small detail, as I will gladly return to this hotel.

Nice views from a balcony, very good breakfast. Nice swimming pool, very clean. Excellent cafe across the road.

When we arrived wanted to pay by card in US dollars and they told me I can pay only MZT by card. If I like to pay by US need to be paid by cash. On them website is written you can pay by US or MTZ by card. After some arguments at reception they excepted card payment by US currency. Make sure it you want to pay different currency you have to have in cash. As receptionist say probably is mistake on the website. I told them they have to correct mistakes like that as it is important for the guests.

Beautiful, stylish 1930s hotel. Love the decor in the lobby and outdoor pool area. A very comfortable room with a great view over the harbour and bridge.

The room was spacious, but does need a bit of an update, especially in the bathroom shower the floor tiles were really scruffy. I personally liked the old time feel though. I thought the restaurant food was surprisingly average… No fish, or seafood of any note. Very mainstream and bland. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable modern hotel with nice view of Maputo Bay, large terrace with view and swimming pool, good restaurant, and friendly personnel. Excellent location between between Baixa and Polana.which can be reached by walking. Several restaurants in the vicinity.

One night on a weekend you could hear all night terrible techno music from a disco probably 1 km away.

The cleanliness of the rooms, the wonderful food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff were excellent. In the reception Eduardo, Cecilia, Neyde and Ilda were amazing. There was a problem with the bathroom drainage of our room and for that they gave us an upgrade, they made bookings for the restaurants and on the whole were very helpful.

We would have preferred for the rooms to have fridges and the bath towels to be bigger.

Breakfast was fantastic. The layout of the gardens and the pool were very nice, as was the view from the balcony of the room. The concierge were very helpful and knowledgeable.

The open air Thursday night music show directly under our room. The airport shuttle we ordered for early pick up on Friday morning did not show. We were accommodated by the front desk with our money returned and the hotel paid for a taxi to the airport.

A slice of Mozambiqan paradise Views are stunning. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of delicacies. The staff has the most friendly congenial,helpful disposition.

The lift slowed us down a little and the room could do with an upgrade.Linen was musty on the first night.

Stylish beautifull hotel with wunderfull colnial stairs. Personel is very friendly. Breakfast is great.

No fridges in the rooms, even not in the suites. Although I stayed 5 nights in this hotel I needed to.pay extra to keep the room a few hours longer on the day of departure. The hotel lodges a lot of military from a EU trainings mission. Its not boring but it dominates somewhat the ambience.

Advertised on the Web free shuttle to airport, on check in told its not done anymore they will update the website! Hotel is nice but worn.

The fantastic upgrade we got: two huge rooms, big balcony with furniture and fantastic views. The building has that old colonial feel. Staff is very very friendly and helpful. We also like the garden and the big swimmingpool.

I missed the towels at the swimmingpool.
