It was an excellent stay all around at this beautiful property. It was so clean and everything worked well. They provided a great buffet breakfast with custom eggs and coffees. I had a manicure and pedicure at their spa too. The staff were the best - i had a 6 night stay so that was important. They were always professional and helpful and smiling. I booked this hotel because of reviews i read and they were not wrong- i would highly recommend.

There are not a lot of services in a short walking distance but you end up taking taxis anyway. The hotel security/doormen were always most helpful with this too.

The hotel staff is the biggest positive aspect of it. Always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and substantial. The Bhansa restaurant offers an immersion into Nepalese culture through its cuisine and typical dance performances, making it a great option for tourists. The services offered by the SPA are excellent. The gym is comprehensive, despite being small.

My room was located right below the Bhansa restaurant, so it was a bit noisy during the afternoon and early evening. The pool could be better utilized if it were heated. The breakfast lacked variety of juices and had limited fruit options.

Best hotel in Kathmandu! The accommodation is well located in a quiet zone. The hotel staff is extremely helpful, kind, and very much welcoming, always ready to assist you, generous and always available to offer help calling taxis, or giving great city recommendations or even ready to support you preparing short trips around. The facilities are cleaned and well preserved. The hotel has security at the entrance at all times. The restaurant conditions seem hygienic and up to high standards, and the food is tasty and good variety during the breakfasts. The hotel offered laundry service delivered the same day, which was very convenient. There is a small gym, but it has all you need for a short stay to keep fit. There is also a nice restaurant at the top floor with nice views to the city. As well, there is a cozy cafe at the entrance with great lunch options. I went on a business trip and used the wifi to work online from my room and also from the restaurant and cafe without any issues and always enjoying a strong internet connection. Overall I had an excellent experience at Basera Boutique Hotel, highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Basera Boutique Hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's décor is a perfect blend of modern elegance and local charm. Every detail, from the art on the walls to the furniture, reflected a thoughtful and unique style. It truly felt like a home away from home, with a boutique atmosphere that was intimate yet luxurious. The service at Basera Boutique Hotel is impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to accommodate any requests. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing local recommendations, they were always available with a smile and helpful suggestions.

The staff was really helpful and the food in restaurants is just great. Real experience. The hotel also organizes dancing performances every evening in the hotel and this is excellent for those with limited time in Kathmandu. The decoration and clearness of the hotel are both perfect. The hotel room was really quiet and I could sleep and work. Wi-fi is very good and I would love to come again.

Hotel rooms are excellent, but there are too many lights to master them in few days when staying in the hotel. I believe there is no need to have so many options for lightening the beautiful rooms :)

Beautifully decorated hotel that is around 10-15 min drive from the airport (we had also booked a room with round trip airport transfers included which were seamlessly organised). The staff are wonderful; Smriti at the reception desk was incredibly helpful with all of our asks. The food and coffee were excellent at the Base Camp Cafe. We had a wonderful thali and were entertained by Nepalese dancers at Bhansa restaurant. Our breakfast at The Mantra was wonderful too. We had some great massages at the spa, and enjoyed a swim on the rooftop pool. Cannot fault our stay - it was wonderful! Highly recommend, and would definitely return.

I loved our stay at Basera Boutique Hotel! Very good location in a calm and safe neighborhood close to ministries. Newari architecture all over the building, including the rooms and the pool. The food at the restaurant was authentic Nepali food, with high quality of raw materials and the opportunity to enjoy cultural nights with Nepali dances. I have to emphasize that the highlight of this hotel is definitely the amazing staff: smiley, always eager to help you (including airport transfer, taxi calling, guide and hiking reservations) and giving their best to make your stay in Kathmandu unforgettable!!!! Of course, in my next trip to Nepal I am going to stay here again! Highly recommended!!!

Everything was amazing

The hotel's architecture was lovely. it had a very local and authentic feel to it. Smriti who was the concierge during the day and Kushal who was the concierge during the night were both accommodating. They called taxi's for me, suggested locations to visit, places to eat, and much more.

I don't think there was anything I disliked. Although the location was a little away from the main Thamel area, Basera's location provided a nice quiet homey feeling after a night out!

We stayed at this hotel and, honestly, the service was the star of the show. Here's what we loved: The team at the hotel went above and beyond. From speedy check-ins to super-responsive room service, really made us feel at home. Thanks so much. The food was a hit, especially the Nepalese dishes. We tried the Daal Bhat Tarkari and the Newari Khaja Set. Both were packed with flavor and gave us a real taste of Nepal. The hotel's spot is perfect for sightseeing and still keeps things nice and quiet when you want to unwind. We were super happy with our stay. Best wish to all the staff.❤

Staff was delightful. Great job done with their training . They are very sweet and courteous and make the place very warm and friendly. Food too was very good and even presentations etc was very pleasing. Also the aesthetics of the hotel are very soothing to the eye. Love the red bricks decor. The staff was the icing on the cake I feel. The vibe of the place is created by people and they did a great job!

Everything was actually very good. One small point, not a very big deal, but since it happened few times so I want to just let you know. If you light goes off and it comes back ( in few seconds itself) , the the AC doesn't switch back on on its own . So there were times while we were sleeping and realized that its suddenly feeling warm and then only to realize that AC went off, maybe because power went off and then came back up on its own. So that was the only thing I noticed. small thing, but just wanted to type here.
