The location was just 5 mins drive outside the main city which was great as it wasn't noisy at all. The front desk staff was amazing. They took really good care of us. They even upgraded our room to business suit without charging more! The room was perfect with good view and plenty of space. The beds were of good size and it was very comfortable. About the food , we ordered many items; but the one stood high was the crispy chicken chilly. It was really amazing! Due to Winter, we couldn't swim in the infinity pool but it looked great with the good view of Nagarjun hills at the back. The hotel is an ideal place for couples who wants to get away from the noisy crowd of the city and the huge underground parking was cherry on the cake. Excellent!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Meals were excellent especially local Nepalese cuisine, not sure why these hotels offer western meals when they should be encouraging their local food

One reason for choosing the hotel at the end of the trip was the offer of transfers to and from the airport. However when we contacted them we were told the driver was unavailable and we had to go by taxi

Everything is perfect there , very clean and tidy and smells amazing. Close to other main places and main temple is just 5 minutes above the hotel which is located in Naranthan. Very good service and amazing staffs. Ps the food is amazing as well alongside variety of beverages

Nothing to not like.

We spent two months travelling in Asia, and this was definitely one of our best places. It was very clean, the view from the room was amazing, the breakfast was good and the staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant and pool were placed on a roof top with an amazing view. The food was some of the best food we had on our entire travel! The reception was open 24/7 and was guarded by night, which always made us feel safe (though all of Nepal felt safe).

It was a bit decentral, but we knew that when we booked it and wanted a break a little bit outside of the city center :) It was easy to take a taxi into town.

The location is perfect, especially if you are staying for at least a few days in Kathmandu: it is calm, with a fantastic view, but you can reach the city very easily by taxi, which is not expensive. Food is great and it has a rooftop which is must and enhances the stay very much.

Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant and room service was very good. Complimentary breakfast had a good choice. Located in the suburbs with a nice Mountain View, if you’re looking for a nice location out of main city chaos. Nice infinity pool but unfortunately couldn’t use it since it was raining.

Pictures on the booking app may not be exactly how it looks in person. Refer to the room size instead of more accurate info. Additional note if you’re looking for shopping etc., then perhaps not the best location as it is not in the city center or walking distance to any activities like that.

This is my 4th stay at Hotel Sabrina, I came last year to stay by myself here, and I never ever booked another hotel in Kathmandu. This year round I stayed for 4 weeks , I bought my brother and my best friend from London, and they also fell in love with the place! From the hotel owner Ni Rajan Sir, and hotel management staff Udip sir, to the room cleaners to the reception and restaurant staff, the service was impeccable! Milan dai, Santosh Bhai, and each and everyone of the staff, made my stay extra special! I plead anyone to find a better hotel than Hotel Sabrina, the views, the food, the rooms, and especially the staff were first class! I cannot wait to come back here, and bring more of my friends and family from London to this amazing one of a kind hotel, this was honestly my home away from home, thanks so much again everyone for the exceptional memorable stay! Hotel Sabrina has exceeded my expectations and is great value for money in Kathmandu. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the facilities, including the bathroom, are excellent. All rooms have a separate balcony to sit and enjoy the view over the city and the nearby mountains. The rooftop restaurant, which is far above the roofs of the surrounding buildings, is the hotel's unique selling point. The ambience and the outstanding quality of the food invite you to linger. In addition, there is a cosy infinity pool and a very well-stocked fitness centre. I visited the latter almost every day during my stay and was very happy with the high-quality equipment. The hotel is located in the much quieter north of the city. Nevertheless, it is easily accessible by public transport, taxis and Pathao, the Nepalese Uber app. For day hiking, the beautiful Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is basically just around the corner. Shivapuri Peak, at 2,732 meters altitude, overlooks the whole of Kathmandu valley and offers stunning views of the Langtang Massif, including the Langtang peak at 7,234 meters altitude. Finally, I would like to highlight the staff. Rarely have I experienced such helpful, friendly and attentive service personnel. Individual requests were always addressed, and I was also given great support with special requests. For example, I had forgotten my headphones on my plane and needed help to reach the Lost and Found Office. The staff then assisted me to research the correct contact numbers and organized a car to bring me to the airport and back to reclaim my headphones. Overall: A fantastic stay, and next time I come to Nepal, I will definitely come back here!

Disclaimer: If you would like to roam around the Thamel or Durbar Square then just make sure through Pathao it will cost you around 600 Nepali Rupees and at night time around 800 Nepali Rupees. However, if you take into consideration of the above statement then this place is one of the most peaceful places you can ever live. The mountain view from your balcony is a sight to marvel at. I just loved this place.

Not the fault of the hotel at all but the distance from the main attractions of Kathmandu is the only issue. Other than that all is good.

The location was suitable for my needs as I as I was being picked up from the nearby temple the following morning, however not very central if you are looking to explore Kathmandu. I enjoyed the steam/sauna and the staff and food in the restaurant were excellent.

The shower was a bit cold.
