A fantastic property. Hot showers, great internet and beautiful garden area. Saroj was amazing. He couldn’t do enough for us arranging transport and paragliding for us. He even sorted the paragliding the day we arrived as he predicted the weather would turn cloudy. He was right. Great prices too. sorting out onward bus and a sunrise experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent value for money! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The facility is close to everything (lake, bars, restaurants etc.). The wifi connection woks very well. Also the garden is a wonderful place to relax.

It can be a little noisy. Often other guests would set up at the tables that are on each floor and make noise until late.

Excently located just off the main drag with extensive lawns containing loungers this is a resort hotel. Comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, AC, TV (mostly not in English), friendly staff. Wifi that works! Good views from the top floor. It's really good value for money and moments from lakeside. Highly recommended!

The room we clean and big, the bed was very comfortable and sheets were clean, the western toilet and shower were as expected, typical to Nepal hotels, hot water worked fine, staff were very pleasant, location was great, clean towels were provided, wifi worked great.

Toilet can be newer, shower mop can be included to dry the floor after a shower (from some reason, no hotel in Nepal thinks about providing it and the result is a wet bathroom for hours when you step in to brush your teeth or go to the toilet)

Central location yet peaceful garden to enjoy quiet. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We arrived wanting to go trekking. Saroj arranged everything for us with a very experienced and knowledgeable guide. We had a great 6 days trekking and returned to the calm of Butterfly Lodge to recuperate. Highly recommended.

Saroj and his team are fantastic. Couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. Hot showers, comfy beds, good wifi, great location, tea on arrival. Very knowledgeable for trekking and local travel/activities.

The Staff was very welcoming and helped us with suggestions and recommendations for whatever we needed (e.g. booking for bungee). The property is centrally located and provides safe parking for your vehicle. It is also a convenient stay as it is located near the lakeside area with all the major shops and eateries.

Just off the main Lakeside road. Good location. Well priced for the services provided. Rooms were not clean by western standards but ok by Nepal standards (dead beetles in the bathroom, soap on the floor from previous occupants, No towels)

Needed towels. Requested from staff but none provided. Had to use treking towels. After trek, its a good place for a hot shower and at $17 a night, its good value.

Close to lakeside but down a side street so not so noisy. Lovely gardens to relax in. Big room, comfy bed, hot water 24/7 ,good wifi. Great staff, nothing was to much trouble. Really great budget hotel. Would definitely go back.

Hey Everyone I had an AMAZING stay in the Butterfly Lodge. The staff are so nice and helpful. Rooms are big and clean, every room have its own wifi adaptar! Atmosphere is great, big garden with beatiful flowers and a lot of grass.
