The staff were super friendly and helpful with giving us pointers on how to get to places. The hotel is on a beautiful ground, by golf course and woods. The hotel is dog friendly and plenty of walking routes near by. The continental breakfast was great, full of choice and delicious.

The hotel is dog friendly but the dogs aren't allowed in restaurant or bar, there's no specific area to eat when travelling with the dogs and we had to take turns and eat separately. The mattress was way too soft for my liking but this just me as I like firm mattress. Overall fab stay.

Good restaurant for dinner. Nice breakfast selection. Good sized room. Nice bathroom and good water pressure/shower. Handy to bus stop. Nice, quiet, rural location.

Some of the ground floor rooms are very close to the bar which is quite noisy until 11pm. Having just spent over 40 hours travelling, the last thing I needed was to be right next to the bar. Staff unable/unwilling to move me. Did, however, book again and on my second stay was given a quieter room.

The room was spacious and clean. It was quite comfortable and it was great to be able to open a window for fresh air - a much-needed tonic after a few days in Amsterdam central. The bakery and fruit shop just down the road were excellent!! It is a little out of town which we liked but may not be for the usual tourist. And the coffee!!! We are not sure what it was but this place easily had the best coffee yet on our trip - we are three weeks in!

Nothing really. It is quite a typical four star hotel and what we expected.

We had had a long day of driving and it was lovely to come to this quiet spot with a big comfortable room with tea/coffee station. We were able to book breakfast and evening meal when we checked in.staff were professional, efficient and friendly.nice to eat in the hotel after a long day, and we didn't have to go out and find somewhere to eat. We are vegetarians and I am also gluten free and they easily accommodated our dietary requirements. Well done guys!

The one little thing was despite the big build up for the wonderful pillows, my husband found the pillow most uncomfortable, but too late to do anything about it!

Great location, excellent breakfast

Found a couple of hairs in two beds. If we can find small hairs in thirty seconds after our arrival then so should cleaning staff. More importantly - I paid for a certain number of people for my family but the hotel didn't have the room configuration I paid for and I had to pay extra. Super unhappy about this. The customer shouldn't have to pay for an incorrect room configuration on booking.com

The exceptional stay with a small problem regarding the reservation, that is, I took one night's accommodation through Booking and at the hotel I asked if it was possible to stay one more night, they answered yes, but the price of one night was two times higher than what I had already booked. And the reception staff gave me almost no explanation

The beds were comfy, the room was nice and clean when I arrived with early check-in. Access to a hairdryer / fan etc. Restocked tea / coffee when room is cleaned, nice little touch.

The location in relation to Amersfoort Centraal was quite far away and resulted in a long walk and a bus to get there, no fault of the hotel of course but made planning around quite hard.

Quiet Beautifull location, helpfull staff. Hotel looks rundown, hallways narrow, many marks on the wall from luggage and staff equipment? Old fashioned shower controls, most Hotels have simple one handle operation- not here. Lobby carpet was stained and worn . Dinners were expensive. It is a tired old Hotel in a beautifull location that needs much upgrading for the pricey hotel.

The food. The potatoes were over cooked/hard and the portions measly. And I understand "fine dining" is in small portions, but this wasn't even close to fine dining -only in price. Also there were beard shavings in the bathrooom, but the rest of the room was immaculate.

Situated on the outskirts of the city this hotel is located in a wonderful area of woodland. The hotel is lovely and the staff were very helpful. The room was superb with two single beds, tea and coffee facilities, TV, wifi, and a great view out into the woodland. I was traveling alone by bicycle and found it to be the ideal place to get some rest and also have a nice walk in the forest where you will find the Camp Amersfoort museum. Local shops, supermarkets and restaurants were all within a 10 min walk. Amersfoort is a wonderful city to visit.

The hotel was perfect but they only had bike stands outside that were not covered or very secure. Would be great to see a secure storage shed or room.
