Stayed with my husband on 12-13 Aug. The hotel's historic charm, restaurant, and bar were delightful.

Most staff members were friendly, except for one incident with the night shift receptionist on 12 Aug. Despite his helpfulness, his inappropriate comment mistaking my Vietnamese background for Chinese was disappointing. He mentioned it was not his usual role. Thankfully, another staff member in the bar area was helpful. The hotel management may want to address this issue promptly. Rated 4 stars due to this isolated incident. Still remember his sentence by Dutch in front of me "Is that a Chinese's thing?"

It's a conference hotel, so we were able to get a good deal at a time when there was no conference. For that it, it was an amazing value for the money. The breakfast is simply amazing, with so many choices and all were delicious. We took the dinner the first night, it was a tad expensive, but delicious! The whole resort located in the woods was a joy to walk around in, little ponds and benches all around the premises, really beautiful - I would love to have a conference here. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Well, we stayed the weekend and we did not realize that there is no bus into the city (either Utrecht or Zeist) on Sundays. As such, we had to take the taxi quite a lot - Saturday because of the luggage, Sunday because there was no bus, Monday because of the luggage again. This put quite a dent into our budget, so be aware of that.

The location was great if you have a car. The hotel is located a few kilometers outside Utrecht and It's in a forest. It has ample parking and the outside areas are clean. The most important thing is that they offer you free coffee with cookies and juice. We don't have an opinion about the breakfast because we didn't choose it because it seemed expensive.

Since they were expecting customers, they should have had the heating at the right temperature and not turned off. Also the rooms were small.

Breakfast they have what you need, bread, warm food, could food. It is perfect ! Room 202 really nice with airconditioning. Nice room cozy. Perfect We get 1x Cappuccino, 2 latte maciato, 1x Ice thea, these are complimentary from the hotels. Thank you very much. The employees are helpful. Thanks

Breakfast: They serve the meat all together (chicken, turkey, pork) our expection all separated Chees, beef, salmon, pork, chicken and turkey so when you did not eat fish so you can still take beef without smell fish or other way. Room 313 don't have AC only fan with nice view Room 202 don't have view but there is AC. We can't order late dinner it's at 19.00 o'clock, please inform the guest here before Please also inform the guest about the activities

Location was excellent to walk and ride the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, and also close to the city of Utrecht. Very nice area with a lot of nature. We didn't rent e-bikes beforehand because we were not sure about the weather, but we were able to very easily rent bikes on the day in the hotel.

Would have expected more choice for breakfast, but we were probably a bit late for the full offering. There was a lot of noise coming from the terrace in the evening... windows in the room have single glass.

The hotel is surrounded by a real, proper forest and lots of greenery. The interior design matches the natural atmosphere and the view through huge glass walls is stunning. Calm and quiet. There's also a donkey shelter next door and you can go there for some cuddles.

You need to pay for tea and coffee additionally. It's a shame that there is no bed frame for the mattress - if you want to sleep as a couple, the mattresses will slide and one person might end up sleeping in a hole between two mattresses. Keeping the mattresses somehow together would improve the comfort of sleeping for couples a lot (we were warned though that they don't have double beds, but we still hoped that we could push the single beds together).

Very friendly staff. A quiet location in forest surroundings. The room was compact but roomy enough with TV. I can't comment on breakfast as I didn't have any breakfast.

It would have been nice to have a kettle to boil some water to have tea or coffee. It is something very simple but will make you feel at home and comfortable.

Small room, however comfortable for our stay. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds. Nice deco in all hotel, with bar and restaurant. Very good buffet breakfast with fantastic coffee. (so far during our trip this was best coffee I have test it ) Staff very friendly and attentive. Hotel located in the forest very relaxing surrounding. Free parking a bonus.

perfect place! nature is surrounding…birds, fishes in the pond, little sweet rabbits u can find in nearby. perfect for walking and relaxing! the most welcoming i found pfefferminze tee with fresh mint which u can make by you own as much as u wish and relax on the terrace!

everything is super, maybe be a bit more dishes in menu ( diner) but it’s my personal impression

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The surroundings of the hotel are very nice, quiet, excellent for walks. The location is great if you are looking for peaceful place to stay.

The breakfast during the weekdays finishes too early for guests who travel for pleasure and don't want to start the day early. The bus transport to the hotel is not regular. It wasn't mentioned on the hotel's website that the direct bus cannot be used during the weekends.
