- Great location - rooms are small but have everything and enough space for 2 people and their luggage - good value for money - close to the zoo and good restaurants - lift

The location is superb where the tram is just in front of the hotel. Few place to eat around the area too.

The hotel is conveniently located at the Artis tram stop, an easy ride from Central Station. The room was comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would consider staying here again in the future.

This is just a nitpick, but our room was on the 1st floor (2nd floor for Americans), at the front of the hotel. This location was a little noisy, with beeping crosswalk signals and tram and vehicle traffic. It wasn’t terrible, just noticeable if you’re sensitive to this kind of thing. The noise died down close to midnight and was fine until morning. I realize the hotel has no control over this, but if you’re especially sensitive to noise you might want to request a room at the back or on a higher floor.

Friendly 24/7 staff. Option to leave luggage before check in and after check out. Small room but clean, only needed for sleeping and showering anyway, so perfectly fine for our needs. USB sockets for charging were great. Lovely local pub two doors down. Quiet enough neighbourhood though to get a good night's sleep even on a Friday or Saturday. Close to city centre and easy to walk everywhere but also with a tram stop right outside the front door (to Amsterdam Centraal).

There is nothing we did not like. But one bit of feedback would be the pillows that are too big and plump to sleep on. They bend one's neck up at an uncomfortable angle, we found.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and had a room overlooking the main road. It was a much larger room than what we’d were expecting from other reviews or typical Amsterdam hotels. The bed was comfortable, great pillows and the washroom was also sufficiently big with a tub shower, there was a closet and hangers, plus a bench to put your suitcase on. It was very easy to get into the city either by foot or taking the tram right outside the hotel, the room was clean just a little dust inside the closet, I was very worried about the hotel considering other reviews however, we were very pleasantly surprised we would recommend this hotel.

I was debating where to stay loads, and opted for this hotel. It did not disappoint. More nicer than expected for sure. The room was big enough we got the superior room in the attic (top floor) it had sky windows, and a beautiful bathtub. It did rain when we were there and looking at the rain on the sky windows was so therapeutic. Nice and Cosy. The bed was comfortable, as well as the pillows (4 in total) but sometimes I didn’t like to use a pillow. The Tv didn’t work for us, the remote didn’t seem like it was compatible with the TV but we didn’t mind we just read books at night or watched Netflix on our phones. You can’t use a Firestick because the tv is wedged at the wall. So that was out of the question. I felt really safe and secure in the room, it actually has an alarm sensor if someone tries to open the door or use the wrong card which I thought was great. Also reception staff (the ladies) are so nice and welcoming. I loved when we checked in the lady at the desk didn’t mention our room number out loud, in fact she circled it for us and quietly told us what floor. In the work that I do, I found this incredible. This Is something that most hotels fail to do. So that was exceptional on her part. You can leave bags downstairs in the laundry room (safe enough). I found the hotel quiet, peaceful even. Guests staying at the hotel were obviously aware of making no noise which was nice. There is a 14 tram that goes into the City Centre right outside the hotel, you can tap your card or Revolut on this (approximately €1.50) and make sure when you are getting off the tram you tap the card again (this gives the system an estimate price). It’s important you Tap off. Approximately 20 minutes from the centre 30 minutes if walking slow but so much to see the walk Is worth it. The zoo is right beside the hotel with plenty of cafes and breakfast options all around. So it’s very convenient. I loved it here and would definitely stay again

The TV would be great if it had an extendable moveable wall mount. The remote didn’t work (not a big issue). The only fault I found is the cleaning lady was extremely loud in the morning possibly on the phone which woke us early enough. Overall it’s still a 10/10 for me.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They didn't mind me coming and going for a cigarette. They explained everything clearly and were always around if anything was needed. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would expect. Recommend for solo travellers.

The room I was in, room 12 was facing the street and near a crossing so during the day the crossing sound goes off all day and sometimes at night but earplugs did the trick and it can't really be helped.

The location was right next to the tram stop that took you straight into Amsterdam Central. Great cafes nearby with good coffee! The room was pretty generous in size with nice big windows that opened for fresh air. It was a bit tired and worn but relatively clean.

If you are bike packers like us and need to keep your bikes secure then this is not the place. Bikes can only be locked up on the street and the hotel manager warned us against it as theft is a real problem. Lucky for us we had pre planned for our bikes to be serviced at a bike shop during our stay so they were stored at the workshop for the 3 days we spent in Amsterdam. The TV also didn’t work in our room which wasn’t an issue until our last night when we wanted a night in due to the bad weather. The staff tried to fix it but couldn’t so they just left it.

Room is really clean and bed is veerry comfortable. Love my room !

It is a bit far from city center ( 30 min by walk from central station) But If you prefer public transportation, you can make it easier :) (14 number)

The hotel provides all the essentials for a stay in Amsterdam. Its location is extremely convenient, with the tram station situated directly in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The staff were incredibly helpful, allowing us to store our belongings in the housekeeping fridge. Moreover, when an issue arose in our room, they quickly relocated us to a different room. So it is really a good value for money! Many thanks!
