My girlfriend stumbled across the pictures on booking and we had to see it. The room is so charming and cozy. Our host, Tim, was the best and really helped us feel comfortable with the area and made us feel welcomed in the room. The location is so close to the night life and we were able to walk everywhere. We also couldn’t get enough of the in room hot tub and sleeping in the loft was like being a kid again.

This location could be a blessing or curse depending on what you’re looking for. The nightlife is not quiet. With that said, we always slept great.

Tim has created the perfect hideaway in the heart of Amsterdam. From the incredible tub and sauna, to the gorgeous art and lighting, The Enlightened House Luxury Suites was a highlight of my trip to Europe. Owner was incredible gracious and kind, leaving detailed instructions for all features and tips for the neighborhood. Location is primo.

We loved staying at the Enlightened House Luxury Suites. We found our room (top floor) was very unique and clean. The facilities and the location were great as well - we walked everywhere and we were very happy with the room.

Nothing we didn't like, but a towel refresh during our stay would have been great (we were offered but host must've forgot) and perhaps some coffee mugs for tea & coffee, as we just had water & wine glasses.

Very attractive spacious suite, fabulous bathroom and the location is excellent. The host is very kind and accommodating and this detail makes the place even more special. Will definitely return.

I perhaps might want extra towels. To be noted the stairs are steep but this is typical of Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful time at the enlightened house, the room, location and host were great. Tim was very accommodating and reactive to any questions I had. We would highly recommend.

Great location and close to shops , restaurants and attractions. Staff lovely and friendly

The only thing I would mention is the stairs to the room are extremely steep so if you were older or mobility issues this would be a problem, for us this was not an issue though just worth mentioning

The property was I a very good location about 1 minute walk to all the action so at weekends can be very busy.

If you are an older couple then the stairs in the property wouldn’t be good as the building is very steep.

The fact it was a traditional Dutch property, the decor was unique and quirky. The central location is fantastic. Host super friendly and helpful.

The room we were in was fab, but would have benefited from a more comfortable seating area maybe a small sofa or armchairs

Location was excellent, bed was comfy and room was a fair size. Johan was lovely and very helpful. Would recommend.

It said safety deposit box on booking.com but was not one so needs to be altered.

Location was A+ Bed was comfortable. Decor is super nice and we love the character of the building/unit. Owner is friendly and got in touch quickly. Easy access to unit.
