This hotel offers a ton of activities, either on the grounds or nearby. Bowling, swimming, dining, it's all right there. The location is good, about halfway between the city center and the Assen race track. The Assen TT circuit is only a 10 min drive away. It's within bicycle distance. The restaurants are affordable and range from decent to good.

Parkinglot is too small. Fortunately there is an additional one very close by. Also, if you like peace and quiet, this place is not for you. It is a real family hotel, tons of kids and packed to capacity on the days we stayed there.

We are bikers who often travel to Assen for motorcycle racing. Usually, I don't book in time to get an Assen hotel. I'm so glad I managed to get the Hotel De Bonte Wever this year. Clean and exceptionally well-equipped, and very competitively priced. Buffet breakfast and dinner are amazing, well cooked with so much to choose from. It is a large complex, with gyms and even a disco...... The Assen track is a short ten-minute ride away, and the walk to the town is about fifteen to twenty minutes. The hotel is accessed via a security barrier so safe secure parking for bikes is a welcome sight when you arrive. For an event at Assen, it couldn't be better, and I can imagine for a family, it would also be ideal, especially for the informal eating arrangements.

To be honest.....nothing.

The staff is nice. Plus you have gym in the hotel price, which I used and the gym is huge. The hotel is also very big. Everything was clean, the rooms are also spacy. It was definitely a pleasant stay and I would return with pleasure.

The breakfast was nice, but it should have more plant and plant-based options (a plus for the soy milk). Otherwise than that it was perfect.

There are not lot of vegan option in the hotel. It would be good if they serve some vegan options. And the cafetaria smells so much of meat and non vegetarian. have been to multiple resorts and hotels where they serve non vegetarian but it does not smell. if they use some ventilators or air cons to remove the smell, every one can enjoy food

Dinner at a la carte restaurant was very good. Breakfast is ok. Room is basic.

There were only two towels, just enough for one person in the bathroom, we had to go to reception for more. The same happened two years ago at our previous visit, standard procedure?

The facilities were clean and well organized. The accommodations are starting to show its years but people are doing a good job keeping it up. Althoug the hotel was full and the hotel's section of the parking lot was fully occupied, there are more alternatives to park your vehicle. The breakfast was excellent and varied. I was in the area for business and didn't have time to explore the rest of the complex, but evidently more is offered that a simple stay, should you happen to be with your family.

The only thing was the water pressure at the shower was very low and took a lot longer than normal to shower, but this is nothing that demerits all the benefits of staying in this hotel.

The location for us was amazing, the facilities were exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. All the staff were very polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Perhaps the walk from the car park, it was a little of a long way round due to the glass barriers.

Easily accessible by car. Noticed a City Link bus stopped outside so probably good for public transport too. Plenty of parking. Clean Rooms. Decent Breakfast.

Breakfast was very good. Also, the option to purchase "buffet dinners" was great as some of our group had dietary restrictions. The location of the hotel was close to the race track and it was within walking distance to town as well. We were very pleased with the pool at the hotel.

location walking distance to town. breakfast was amazing, and the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. as a regular visitor I have always had great nights sleep at this facility!! staff were very friendly, and attentive. great place to recover from Jet lag with its coffee machines accessible free 24/7 . big thumbs up from two Australians!!

the shower water pressure was low, and Wifi as good as it was in the public areas was very poor to non working in our room (2114).
