Really enjoyed our short stay here, the staff were friendly, very helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We were in Assen to go to the racing at the TT circuit, hired e bikes to get there, easy 30 min ride and great for exploring the area. It is a fair walk from the town but easy to get to using bikes or transport. Great choice for breakfast and meals in the restaurant or bar. Would definitely stay again. Did not have time to try the wellness centre but it looked good.

Easy access from the Autobahn. Courteous staff. Very clean. Stayed in Junior Suite. Bathtub in the middle of the room was a new thing for me, but Exceptional! Spacious room.

Doors to the bathroom are mirrored on the outside. So long as the room is very well lit, no one can see anything in the toilet area, just a mirror reflection. However, at night with a dimly lit room or dark room with light on IN the bathroom.....people outside can see quite a bit. And no one really needs to see that.

An amazing hotel in Assen, very close to the motorway and only 5 min drive from the town centre. Spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, plenty of free parking. Great restaurant with multiple choices for various tastes. Excellent customer service - the hotel was very helpful in all respects when we had a medical emergency. Highly recommended, will stay again!

The bathroom door in our triple room was a sliding door made of matted glass. This would not have been a problem if the kids were younger, but it was a bit of an inconvenience with teenage kids staying, as there was little privacy in the bathroom. Thankfully, the hotel super-cosy toilets were not too far away!

Room was spacious, clean, well appointed, modern. (To my surprise I received an upgrade) Bathroom also spacious, clean, well appointed and modern. Both shower and jacuzzi. It is a large facility. The internal signage was good. Breakfast full selection Dinner wide selection and tasty. Not high cuisine, but more than standard Buffet lunch for workshop group was fresh, tasty and attractive I facilitated a workshop - the facilities were excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. Easy to deal with in advance and they met all our needs throughout the day.

The staff is amazing and very accomodating. The restaurant is beautiful and the dishes great as well. The wellness is unbelievable for a hotel, I loved every second!

Room was very hot and hard to get colder: but that may just be a preference! Unfortunately you can't open a window, only a door to a balcony, which felt unsafe to keep open. However, again this may just be a preference, as I prefer to sleep cold.

The food was perfect the location was good the bar the souna the swimming pool and the environment was good

The spa and sauna area were AMAZING. 5 saunas, a snowshower, great pool, showers etc. More than enough fresh towels. Opening times could have been more generous. The gym was amazing. Everything you need is available. State of the art machines, weights, … fresh and cold water, towels. Bike rental was well arranged and against fair prices. Rooms were of great size, bathrooms were great too. TV

Rooms weren‘t cleaned, only fresg towels. When asking at the reception, staff was everything but helpful.

Nice upgrade to have included a bubble-bath in the room. Super breakfast with anything you could possible like.

I always come back so there is nothing I do not like. It is located close to the connecting highway (no worries) a little outside of the city, you need a bicycle :-)

Great spa. Comfortable spacious room with terras. We travelled with a dog which was not allowed in the restaurant but we could dine in the bar without leaving our dog alone in the room. For breakfast, there are tables in the lobby which provide a solution. There is a forest next to the hotel. Breakfast had many choices and was good value for money.

The communication. Because we travelled with a dog, we were ‘downgraded’ to a lesser room. In the end the room was perfect and conforming to our normal expectations but we were expecting some non-renovated left overs in the hotel. This could easily be solved by adjusting text on website and by presenting better pictures of these ‘lesser’ rooms, which as said, were fine. Also staff could be better instructed to treat dog-travelers as valuable guests instead of second-rank customers (or do not allow dogs at all). Not all tables in the breakfast room were spaced at 1.5 m distance. Although Corona regulations are relaxed, I did not feel fully comfortable with some couching guests and running children around.
