Tasteful look& feel in a small boutique hotel where staff genuinely want guests to feel welcome, the rooms are comfortable and everything has just that little extra personal touch. I will definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again. Fabulous breakfast options,too!

Acoustic panelling in the rooms could be something worth investing in as the town clock and plumbing noise from other rooms can be heard on occasion. I got used to it quickly but a lighter sleeper might appreciate more soundproofing.

The Poorter Boutique Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is in the oldest building in Brielle and set on a quiet, quaint street. The rooms are tastefully updated and very modern. The service is impeccable. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The town of Brielle was also a delightful surprise. I wish we had planned a longer visit.

I loved everything about this hotel but if you aren't able to climb stair it might not be right for you.

Our stay here was one of the highlights of a memorable trip. Brielle is an undiscovered gem outside The Netherlands and Poorter Hotel a winner in every respect! It is perfectly located in beautifully restored buildings in the pedestrianised main street. The interior decoration is of a very high standard and the romantic attic bedroom was very well appointed. Many thanks to the check in lady, who carried my carry-on suitcase upstairs!

If you like quirky non-chain boutique hotels this does hit the spot! Great decor in rooms (in our case a suite) and the public area. Staff & management are very polite, offer assistance with anything and I have the strong feeling that they'd do the upmost to please the guest! Much prefer these sort of hotels vs large corporates. Found by pure coincidence and will surely return!

the hotel is in a perfect location on the high street, and the decoration was beautiful: an historic building with tasteful renovations and stylish new finish. Really friendly staff. Felt welcome and perfectly safe as a solo female traveler. Safe space to store my bike. Super toiletries in the bathroom (including conditioner and moisturiser). Would happily return!

Note that there is no restaurant serving dinner, but with a superb French restaurant 200m away, this didn’t matter at all. Breakfast is served at the hotel.

Nice and cosy hotel in the city centre with central location in a old building but all renewed. Nice and clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast with both salty and sweet options, all with high quality food: fresh orange juice, fresh white and black bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, croissant, etc.

The stairs were a little steep on my knees, but this is something normal for the region's architecture. Hubby had no problems with it.

The way it was done up with eye for every detail. High quality items used. But especially the deep bath! Perfect!!

Amazing welcoming. Room was spacious, sunny and luxurious. Shared areas like the lounge, the breakfast room and the garden are really nice and quiet. Great breakfast too. The village itself is also very nice. I really recommend this gem in the heart of Brielle, I will definitely be back.
