This was our 4th trip to Enkhuizen, and this was our first time staying at at Die Port van Cleve (3 nights). We used the hotel as our base for exploring the Netherlands. They have good quality European breakfast. Eggs were cooked to order. Both the room and bathroom were a good size. All the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a good location -- a good balance between the downtown stores, restaurants, and the train station/parking. We've never eaten the evening meal here; however, we've observed that many other travelers do. The location does not suffer from nighttime bar noise or morning trash pickup and delivery noise. I imagine that we will stay here on our next trip.

Very friendly and obliging family-run hotel in a great location over-looking the river. Close enough to walk to the train station, even for older people pulling bags. Great breakfasts, bar/lounge area for relaxing at the end of the day and a lovely historic feel.

One night of our stay a very large and very loud event was happening in a nearby club/bar/restaurant.... loud music until late in the night, which betrayed the idyllic historic feel of the town. It was quiet in our hotel when all the windows were closed but then it was a shame in mid-Spring to have to close-up.

This is our third visit to this hotel. We love everything about this hotel and Enkhuizen. It is great to combine busy Amsterdam with Enhuizen where the pace is very different. All the staff are so friendly and worked so hard to make their customers happy. We ate in the restaurant one night and were more than satisfied with the quality of food and service. Breakfast was also an enjoyable experience with so much on offer. Our room was in the front of the hotel overlooking the water so couldn't have had a better view.

Wonderful selection of breakfast items. They gave us a choice of how we wanted our eggs, cooked or scrambled. They were very accommodating to let us leave our luggage early in the day while we walked around town until our room was ready.

There were dead bugs and spider webs behind the curtains when we opened the windows.

Cafe, restaurant and hotel combined, all three excellent and an authentic Dutch experience. Location is excellent alongside harbour and town itself small and full of charm.

There's nothing that detracts from the hotel at all - extremely professional and competent in every aspect.

Staff does not wear face masks, which is required by law. Parking "garage" is a crowded backyard with paint supplies.

Was a fantastic stay

The room needs to be aerated properly It is too loud in the night, window isolation is a must! Also it is unacceptable that other hotel guests celebrate parties in the room, the room opposite mine 107 partied till 1 am and I could not sleep

The helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too difficult - from laundry to baggage storage - excellent. The location as it is in the centre of Enkhuizen - close to everything. The breakfast was excellent.

Location, Exceptional, very, very friendly & helpful staff, old scholl hotel charm.

Old, worn out. Charm mixed with "should get this fixed" feel. I would stay there again though despite things being somewhat worn out.

The bathroom was great,with a jacuzzi & lights,very relaxing,with unexpected tv what a bonus!

There could’ve been more choice for breakfast-but I except it was mainly a continental breakfast & nothing else
