Location was excellent. Very central in historic part of town & only 8 min walk to the old harbour. Lovely restaurant but quite expensive due to high quality of food. Staff were brilliant. Beautiful courtyard area; partly shaded if you needed shelter from sun or rain.

The large breakfast was not very large unless you chose lots of items. If you did it was large and very tasty. The chamber maids needed to shake the bottom sheet more as still found grains of sand after my trip to beach. When I mentioned it, I was given clean sheets so put right very quickly.

Excellent location; like an Oasis in the middle of the town/city. Breakfast was tasty, but having to choose EXACTLY what you want in advance means you're not quite sure how much you're getting. The shared mini-kitchen/mini-bar area is a great idea, especially the free fresh fruit; also easily enable you to refill any coffee/tea/water for your own room The garden is lovely, really green and nicely laid out. Very comfy big beds, and an excellent shower. We loved the exposed beams in our room too :)

The lift/elevator is slightly odd; the floor moves, but the walls don't, and you have to hold the button down until you get to your floor. Didn't feel unsafe, just... odd :) See also above for breakfast :)

I was contacted via WhatsApp en route to the hotel and provided with very helpful information. Breakfast was a fairly basic choice and small in size, though OK for us. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station, though a short taxi ride is better should you have suitcases. The hotel is located close to the town square where there are several bars/restaurants.

The shower needed a convenient place to hang a towel. There are a few large steps in the hotel's courtyard. These are difficult to negotiate with large bags/suitcases.

The location was amazing, in the centre of Hoorn. The hotel & restaurant are beautiful and the garden is a big addition in the summer. The room has everything you'd expect with a lot of attention to detail and very clean. It was perfect.

Due to the fact that it is situated in the centre it could be a bit noisy in the weekends. But that shouldn't keep you from staying here.

We enjoyed the helpful and kind approach of the staff personnel, particularly the lady chief in charge , in order to assist us senior bike riders with arrival comfort, electricity supply, rain protection and a good energetic spirit. Since we had the wonderful room nr. 14, Johan Cruijf's book -he was Ajax nr. 14- was presented on the bed shelf. For a Rotterdammer this usually is hard to digest, but the hotel experience totally compensated the upcoming stress.

The location was perfect, in the center without any noise disturbance. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately there are only two (small and a large breakfast) choices with fixed items. It is advisable to give the guest a choice of four items from the large breakfast when it comes to the small breakfast. This would reduce wastage, as I did see a number of guests leave part of the small breakfast untouched (including myself).

Very modern, comfortable and nicely placed in the centre of town. Room was large and comfortable. Staff very attentive and helpful. Special mention of staff member Ranska , she was wonderful.

For mid summer Duvet was too thick and uncomfortable. Secondly for a modern hotel, there was no USB connection in the room, you have to bring your own plug.

breakfast could be more imaginative - if you order the small breakfast, it would be nice if you could have a bread roll instead of a croissant I know the toilet paper is recycled but it is very thin and not very nice to use

Everything was amazing, when entering the amazing smell welcomes you, a small check in and a very friendly receptionist. She loves her work and that shows. Also entering the room was amazing. We got the deluxe room (nr 5) and its bright and clean and fresh and new and just love it! Also we got married and they created a beautiful room to surprise us. Also the restaurant downstairs is just fantastic. The breakfast is enough and if you stay bit longer Also customisable. The people working there are just soooooo friendly. We will come back here for sure! Thank you all for our amazing stay

The only little thing that I could find was the shower, I could not find a way to regulate how hard or soft the water power is. But that's it. And I'm normally very nagging about a lot of things.

Lovely property with great location right on the old square. Design is very nice with a nice bar and quality, spacious garden restaurant. Nice wooden beams in the rooms and the place has a feel of sustainability. The manager was very helpful and friendly despite the busy weekend. Recommend it highly.
