excellent breakfast - just top! fresh, rich, natural and healthy.... just what was needed to get the day going the right way. Scrambled eggs and croissants excellent!

no safe in the apartment.... and the shower needs some type of a closure, either a nice curtain, or a partial glass panel... it was not fun having to be always careful on how to shower so as not to water the entire bathroom, and then squeeging the floor all the time...

Very nice breakfast, served to your table (no buffet, freshly made). Comfortable and large bed, quiet (apart from the church bells). Two large TV screens, with ChromeCast. The interior of both the room(s) and the hallways is amazing. Staff are considerate, helpful and kind.

Our room was a bit on the dark side, with limited windows and a generally dark interior. Admittedly, the weather and season didn't help (early November). The duplex rooms are not suitable (as clearly indicated) for people with mobility issues, as the beds are situated upstairs. In autumn and winter, the beds are quite cool, and I can imagine that the opposite is true in summer, as the beds are directly underneath the roof. This also meanst that when it rains it gets very loud.

The room is beautiful, spacious with a comfortable large bed, seating area, and a working desk, we loved the bath tub and well absolutely everything about the room. It’s located near many restaurants and shops therefore you can enjoy delicious evening dinners just footsteps away.

We didn’t feel welcomed. My husband and I booked the presidential suite for a week and loved everything about it, on the second day however, we had a meeting scheduled at 9am and decided to go have breakfast at 8:10, in a rudely manner we were told that the breakfast shift starts at 8:30 therefore we’d have to wait, my husband kindly asked if it were possible for one day to have the breakfast early, again, rudely we were told that they have shifts, which then started into a discussion. I find it very rude to treat your guests thus. We fully respect that they have breakfast shifts, however "let me see what I can do" or "I’ll bring you some coffee and some bread in the mean time" would suffice. Just a suggestion. With the hotels reputation it did not fill our expectations.

Excellent hospitality, very warm welcome. Location is smack in the middle of Middelburg town, next to the Abby and church. Also appreciated the inner garden for a late night drink, and the authentic details as well as excellent state of the interior. Everything functioned and looked very good.

Car garage is a little walk away (5 minutes). It is possible to park in front of the hotel to load or unload the car, but not very easy to park near the hotel for the duration of the stay.

Everything was perfect. The room was beautifully decorated, combining traditional and modern elements. Very comfy bed. The room was also very quite with beautiful view of a historic building. Located in the center of Middelburg with many parking spots around and close to restaurants and bars. Very good breakfast. The staff was very helpful and they even offered to prepare breakfast for us a bit earlier so as to have it before our departure.

There was nothing that I would comment negatively. Everything was as expected or even exceeded our expecations.

My wife and daughters stayed here to visit our son at university. They were switched to an apartment as one daughter was added late and the hotel was very accommodating. They were really impressed with the hotel, especially the breakfast and I'll be checking it out myself tomorrow with my wife tomorrow.

The staff here at The Roosevelt were incredibly helpful, and they always had a smile on their faces. We were greeted so nicely and the girls maintained this level of fantastic hospitality the whole time we were there. We stayed in the Family Suite; which is big with tall ceilings, where my Dad took the Double Bed and I took the Sofa bed which was so much more comfy than I expected, and I slept very well. I had read reviews before coming about the hotel breakfast and how good it is, and the reviews were not wrong! Lovely fresh yoghurt with granola and fruit syrup, a choice of eggs, meats, salmon, breads, pastries... it was all delicious! The decor of the hotel is very stylish in the restaurant/bar area and they sell locally brewed beers which was great to try when we arrived. The location is perfect, very central and an easy walk to anywhere in Middelburg, right next to the Lange Jan.

There was a bit of a draft from the window behind the sofa bed however this was only minor as I turned the radiator up and covered the draft with some decorative pillows and this stopped any cold air getting in. It wasn't much of an issue at all and didn't affect us after that.

The hotel was beautiful, excellent location and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was exceptional.

Our room looked out over the church tower which was beautiful. It could have been the time of year (Easter weekend) but the bells went every half an hour right through the night. A set of earplugs are handy!

The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice with hot food on offer too! The receptionist was most helpful too she went above and beyond to please us.

We were told all rooms are different we stayed in room 10. The split level room had the toilet & shower downstairs with the sink in the bedroom upstairs meaning hands could not be washed without going upstairs after using the toilet. The stairs were dangerously steep too!

we booked the spa for the evening: we enjoyed a peaceful time in jacuzi and sauna. breakfast served at the table was very nice and delicious. the hotel is located right in the center of the town but it is quiet

We had to decide the slot for breakfast the day before. But it is not a big deal...
