I have just returned from a week at the Apollo Hotel. The hotel is a five minute walk from Nijmegen railway station. Check in was straight forward. The room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and was ideal for our stay. The shower in particular was excellent, large with good water pressure and temperature. This is my first visit to Nijmegen, the Apollo is ideally located for exploring the city and is close many bars, restaurants, and shops. I didn't have breakfast, but the hotel provides a continental style breakfast which looked very nice. Overall, the hotel suited our needs, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Apollo to anyone, thanks..

The location was amazing, I could walk to the station and every landmark with ease, and it was really easy to find, next to the big roundabout. My room was cleaned every day and the service was amazing, we even stapled my sticky notes after they broke apart.

The shower space was unusual, it had a static barrier and a low step to keep the water in, and it would still reach the floor. It was also difficult to close the door to my room; but it was one of the only problems to exist at all, the room was amazing.

I have everything that I need in the room - fridge, coffee machine, airco for the summer. The room is of a good size with all the working amenities. The staff was the best - friendly and amazing from the receptionists to the housekeeper. The breakfast included is adequate but could have more variations. The coffee machine by the reception is a great touch to my experience. The wifi could be slower at times but I managed to use it throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect - 5 min to the centre, 10 to the river and 5 to the station.

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station it's near to all the shops and attractions the first room we had the Tv did not work so the receptionist changed us into another room this was a larger room it was very clean with all amenities the bed was very comfortable I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want somewhere near to the station and the amenities plus the reception staff are brilliant

There wasn't any other than there wasn't any British tv chanels it's sometimes nice to have one or two

Great location, flexible access for the whole party to come and go with us all having separate key cards. Friendly staff and right on the doorstep to various bars and restaurants Rooms where really spacious aswell and English speaking channels on the TV aswell as access to YouTube got us in the mood for going out with the party tunes in full flow. Nec Nijmegen by far the greatest team in the country NF14 ❤️💚🖤

Only downside we had was there was a lack of privacy with the bathroom as there was no door which would be fine for a couple but for a group of lads sharing a room we had to make each other aware if we were going to use the loo the save any surprises. Apart from this minimal issue, everything else was above all expectations

We got a larger room, facing out toward the main street. It had a small fridge, a nice bathroom and a working tv. The windows were large and let in a lot of natural light. There was a coffee machine and as many capsules as we could use. Parking was very close, and it's located right in the centre. The aircon was very good.

For the price breakfast should be included. It would also not hurt if there was some agreement with the parking facility close by.

The room was fine if a little small but served its purpose. It had a small wardrobe and ample power sockets. The bathroom was a decent size with a good shower. Breakfast has to be pre-ordered for the following day but there are plenty of places around the hotel. The location is perfect to accessing bars, restaurants and cafes. There is a large and secure cycle parking facility directly opposite the hotel entrance.

I really appreciated all of the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. When they noticed I had trouble finding something to eat at the breakfast, fitting my vegan diet, the receptionist offered to go to the supermarket to get me something! Even though I didn’t expect her to do it, it was very courteous of her and proofs my point of the Apollo having a very good service! Thanks a lot :)

I‘d love to see vegan options for breakfast in the future! :)

We liked that the location is near to train station and everything you liked to do is in the neighbourhood as well.

The fridge at the Room we're we stayed was not functioning good, meaning it's broken. Coffee machine as well at the room doesn't work good as well. We mentioned to the Room Attendant as well but didn't report it to the front desk, the same day the fridge and the coffee machine is still didn't change. We mentioned to the front desk but after we check out. Hoping they change the fridge and the coffee machine at that Room.

The property is centrally located and the room was very clean, although the first room I was offered had a problem with the toilet flushing mechanism.

There were workmen working on the roof so there was quite a bit of noise during the day.
