The room was clean and comfortable, nice view. Desk was OK to work on (a bit small, but OK). Wifi worked well. Excellent breakfast and efficient staff. The bar in the hotel is quite nice.

I stayed in this hotel and always liked it, but this time two things disappointed me a bit: 1) My room was not cleaned one day (I was in the room in the morning, but I left around 11). 2) I could hear quite a bit of noise from the neighbouring room. This is often a problem, but in a hote which was built recently, I would have expected a better soundproofing.

Breakfast was good, offering quite a lot of options. The room we booked was not the standard room, that is why it was bigger, with a great bathroom and a terrace. A beautiful room! The hotel is not located "on the beach", but it is more or less 10 minutes away from it. Which is perfect, if you also like a bit of calm and also enjoy a short walk to and from the beach.

Ww liked everything, but there was one thing missing: a restaurant in case one wants to have lunch or dinner there. Unfortunately they were still missing a chef when we were there.

The room is relatively simple, but has all I needed. Comfortable bed, reasonable desk, tea kettle and a good wifi. There was a small balcony with a nice view. The room was clean. The breakfast is very good. I enjoyed the bar in the hotel and the staff was always friendly.

I only have one complaint: unfortunately, the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of what is happening in other rooms. Not a big problem in January when the hotel is largely empty, but this time (July) the hotel was full and the noise was quite unpleasant. Its a pity, otherwise the hotel would be nearly perfect.

I know this hotel for years mainly due to business trips and this time we came for a few days vacation. I just love the Hogerhuys and its people. Simply a place with great atmosphere, where you feel comfortable. They always have a great breakfast buffet and good drinks are served at the bar. Because my lady had her birthday I have asked for flowers in our room in advance and a beautuful bouquet of flowers was there, when we arrived.

Clean room, helpful and friendly staff (speaking three languages at least), delicious food in restaurant including dinner and breakfast. Also nice location with a good view, although a little further from the sea than the photos make out. Great travel connections with the surrounding towns on the bus.

Two single beds pushed together is not a double room. Although beds comfortable, they were literally two singles pushed together and the light weight mattresses meant they shifted in the night and we fell down the crack!

We just wanted an overnight stop and a good nights sleep - This hotel worked for us. Excellent breakfast. Short walk to beach. Near tulip fields - 20 minutes from Keukenhof

Unfortunately there is no adequate charging outlet near the bed. They have USB 2.0 integrated in the night lamps, however there is no chance to charge a modern USB-C Smartphone or iPad. We had to use the socket on the other side of the room.

Great breakfast and kind staff. Room is relatively small but cozy, quiet, and clean. Laundry service is available.

A balcony is featured but small.

The location, staff, bed, terrace and breakfast were nice

The bathroom was very outdated, booking had shown me different pictures than the room I got and the difference was huge

The breakfast buffet was superb. Very comfortable bed.

It would have been good if an evening meal was available at the hotel.
