A charming small hotel, right at the beach, with interesting design and the ambition of providing "boutique design hotel" experience. I had the cheap "standard" room but it was still nicely furnished with pretty much all I needed, including a coffee machine, bathrobe etc. The room was clean. The restaurant and bar are really excellent (but not cheap). Breakfast was nice too (but make sure you have time for it).

The hotel was very full and the staff was sometimes a bit overloaded. For example the service at breakfast was very slow, just one lady who had to take all orders and make all coffees, so it took about 10 minutes to get my coffee. The room was not well soundproofed, you could hear a lot from other rooms.

The hotel is newly refurbished, the room was really large and comfortable. Complimentary cofee, tea and water in the room. Location on the seafront. The restaurant/bar is really excellent (including the breakfast which is worth the 20 EUR) and the hotel staff is trying to provide a luxury experience. Overall a nice hotel, specially if you are on holidays and can actually enjoy it.

There are small issues, like the fact that all power sockets in the room are shut down when you turn of the light. The check-in experience was a bit odd - I was given a welcome drink first before they let me go in the room. But no big deal, the staff is trying hard and the hotel is great. I would have liked a larger desk.

Vespers Hotel is exceptional in every way. It is very stylish. The rooms are decorated individually in great taste and with fine attention to detail. The beds are exquisitely comfortable. Dining is a pleasure in a beautiful setting with creatively prepared food. Staff is personable and professional. High recommended for a memorable stay.

Atmosphere

Your cooperation with Huis ter Duin needs improvement- their reservation system is not working properly. We had examples that they show unavailability when they have rooms, they do not direct people to your place, there are over/double booking or their system rejects an inquiry but in the same time a reservation is registered without informing the customer.

Nice location, efficient check-in by staff, (free) welcome drink, free parking along the boulevard in front of hotel, good size room, nice bedding, spacious shower, and AN ELEVATOR for us 70+ types. Had dinner one evening, despite the fact that there was a large party in the restaurant area, the staff still managed to take care of the other guests and their needs.

Location was great, a bit away from the town but walkable. Room was a good size. The bathroom had a glass door and was part of the room. The staff was amazing and really helpful. The bar and breakfast area was always buzzing!

The location is great. The staff is friendly, caring, attentive and fun. The breakfast comes with an extensive made to order breakfast items like french toast and egg benedict. The bed is comfortable. The soundproofing is very good. The bathroom/shower is luxurious, came with light and music (steam part was not working, that needed servicing, but if guests don't mention it, the staff can't act upon it). All in all a great stay.

Some small technical things with appliances and not having airco. Some of the artwork on the walls is not of everyone's liking.
