The room assigned to us had a great view of the plain in the morning. Carpark was free with ample slots available, which was a great help for driving travellers like us. The room came with very basic amenities like soap and towels, coffee maker only. The water pressure was great and wifi was working well from within the room. Check-in and out were smooth.

The TV console in the room was getting loose, we had to be careful not to put anything heavy, it seemed the whole table would give way if we did. The cleanliness could have been improved, we found a used and wet towel in the bathroom. Slippers were not provided to guests, the tile floor was pretty cold, weather was about 9 to 11 degree during our stay.

Nice room with the view of the river. Clean and comfortable.

The restaurant was not good at all. The food was not up to a standard that you would expect in the price range, weird combinations and just tasteless. Poor service. One waiter poured the soup so that it splashed on to my white shirt (the stain did not come off) and also to my colleagues dress who was sitting opposite to me. She did not even apologise and the restaurant did nothing to try to cover for this mess.

This was not my first time to come to this hotel. I like everything there. The view is fantastic and the room was clean and good.

I would suggest to add a small refrigerator in the room because there is a place for it and many people need it to put stuff there. I would suggest to add more types of breakfast because for me I do not eat egg and ham and bacon. I would suggest to add for example Philadelphia cheese or baked potato or lentils.

The bathtub was massive and the bathroom was very clean. The view from the hotel room is nice despite not having the "river view room" and the ambience in the bar/restaurant was very lovely, both during the day and night. We had dinner at the bar, and the food was really tasty with reasonable pricing. The selection for the breakfast was quite good. We especially like that there are hiking routes that start and end right at the hotel's parking lot and that the hotel is quite literally in the middle of a small forest. The wellness facility was small but clean, and the hotel provided towels and locker with the entrance fee.

The bed was way too soft and the "double bed" was two beds pushed together, not ideal for partners or family. The food at the breakfast tasted like they have been cooked a long time before and the fruit options were not properly peeled. In the wellness facility, the steam room did not seem to work when we stayed and the shower room did not have any hook or anything for your towel and change clothes.

Young lady on reception kind and helpful after a couple of bad experiences on the buses (one driver did not tell me about the road changes around Ede hospital where my son was admitted, and the other didnot stop at the stop closest to the hotel even though I had rung the bell, had to go to Renkum and wait 40 mins), first time travelling solo. The room was spotless, separate shower from the bath, water pressure excellent. Just couldn't master the coffee machine, wasted loads of coffee pods. If wandering into the city centre recommend the Bergpad through the woods, beautifully quiet.

The coffee machine. Did ask for some sachets but was told machine was working fine.

Amazing location inside a woodland forest where you can walk or cycle. Very good breakfast. The room is also very comfortable and cozy. Very helpful and attentive staff. Was really pleased with my staying.

The restaurant can be quite expensive, but they do have other options slightly more affordable. They try to demotivate you to not order take aways, for some reason, by having signs in your room. I view this as a very silly approach to try to make people to use your restaurant. The hotel is not at a walking distance from other restaurants, so your options can be limited.

Room with a nice view facing the river, bathroom and room clean and comfortable. Breakfast expensive but good choice and tasty options at the buffet. Brasserie with a nice terrace reasonably priced. Great walking and biking routes.

Better training of the personnel is a must, both at reception and brasserie. The staff is friendly, but lacks efficiency. The fridge with 'drinks on the go' was not well stocked and ran out of beer and white wine on Sunday.

The view was amazing . We had the river view suite loved the balcony and the view

Some things made me guess is this really 4 star hotel ,. Like no coffee cups ! How can I make coffee and tea if there is only 2 paper cups. No mini fridge and breakfast was really poor. Also really have a question who but the duck in the bath ( it was ridiculous) it had no purpose it was ugly it ruined the romantic vibe . We really wondered what was on this person ming to but that there.

The staff were really helpful and kind. They also helped me with things outside their job scope. The room was nice and had a good bed with nice bedding. Housekeeping was done everyday.

They did not have a mini fridge in the rooms. And the balcony had some cigarette butts which were not cleared by the clener the whole weeek.

This is a very nice hotel in a peaceful location adjacent to a large arboretum with walking paths and varied trees, plants, and flower gardens. It's on a hill overlooking a river valley with splendid views from every angle. The members of the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The restaurant is excellent with a varied menu, and the breakfast buffet is likewise large and varied. The hotel has ebikes available, which are nice for pleasant transportation. It's close to bus service, which is how I arrived from and departed to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel.
