Lovely location with excellent staff in reception who were very helpful. Room was a great size and we were able to relax and enjoy the view of the ships passing by. The food at breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice. The food in the restaurant was of a high quality and value for money.

The room would be improved by the addition of a fridge. The sofas were reasonably comfortable but a little too low, especially for taller people or people with disabilities. The room is dimly lit in all areas. At least 1 well lit area would be beneficial as it would make things such as reading easier. The 2 TVs were both controlled by the same remotes. This meant that changing the channels on 1 also changed them on the other. Not ideal if you are both watching something different. Housekeeping was not consistent or as effective as expected for the quality of the hotel. Dirty crockery was not cleaned and the bed linen not changed when we indicated that we would like it done. The car park only has 2 disabled parking spaces which is poor for the size of the car park.

Myself and my partner went to get a bite to eat and drink at 21.20. As it was a beautiful evening, we wanted to sit on the grass area. We were told we couldn’t as they were going to move the tables and chairs to the side, ready for the grass to be cut in the morning. We of course didn’t mind being accommodating, even though we shouldn’t have to be! However, once we finished our foods and drinks (40 mins later), we discovered that people were sat out there and nothing had been moved. We went away feeling very frustrated and unhappy with this situation. Firstly, as a paying customer, I shouldn’t be told where I can’t sit. Secondly, if I am being told no for a reason, then at least get the ball rolling. Don’t say no, then do nothing about it.

The hotel was in a quiet location with a beautiful river outlook, from where it was possible to go on riverside walks. There was ample free parking. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection of items all well prepared. We ate in the restaurant twice in the evening. The food was good, service excellent and price reasonable. The hotel staff were all friendly and efficient. Special praise goes to Alice, who gave us ample help in deciding how to plan our stay and see the local sights. Her suggestion to use the water-bus to go into Rotterdam made our excursion there easy and pleasurable - so much better than driving and having to park! She took an interest in how we had got on so that she could use our feedback to be of help to other guests.

I love the location, the ease of check in and out. The swimming pool and politeness of staff!

The only thing that let's down this hotel is no fridge in the rooms. Room service is not available 24/7 and in hot weather you really need a refrigerator for kids foods.

Hotel is located next to Oude Maas and has a wonderful terrace with a view to the river. The location is perfect for walks or bike rides along the river, yet not too far away from the city and port of Rotterdam. The room was spacious and nicely furnished.

In the room we could not make Tea coffee as things were not there. Also the coffee machine on the ground floor was off.

The rooms were very clean, large and comfy. The breakfast was one of the best I had, I especially liked the dutch pancakes. Around the hotel there is a nature park with cycling and walking paths as well as a channel. Very quiet and restful place.
