Excellent Location! Lovely area and only a 2 minute walk from the beach and a lovely cafe! Stunning and easy 10 minute walk along the coast to mission bay where theres bars, restaurants, etc. You have to eat at Bodrum Kitchen!!! There are plenty of buses and stops if you don't fancy the walk! Easy to get into main Auckland city centre! Wonderful staff, able to check in early due to a change in our flights 😀 Really good communication! Room was perfect for what we needed, a comfortable bed. Good shower! Lots of coffee and tea in the room. Spacious living area with excellent amenities! 100% would come back!

Fantastic stay at Aarangi Motel. Beautiful large clean room, just 100m from a lovely beach, bars and bus stop to the city centre ( buses every 15 minutes) Despite the weather being very hot and humid the room was beautifully airy and we rarely needed to use the two fans provided. Veronica was a great host and, nothing was too much trouble. With access to Auckland CBD just a 15 minute bus ride away I think we would always stay here in preference to a city hotel / apartment. Thank you very much Team Aarangi, you made our stay superb

Everything was brilliant

A great order style motel with very adequately equipped kitchenette, separate main bedroom all immaculately clean and maintained. The location was excellent- mere steps from a few bars and a few more steps to the beach. The management were very friendly and helpful.

Not a lot not to like. The only comment would be that there was no supermarket within walking distance but was a couple of minutes drive away .

It was very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and quiet, and great location. The lady at check-out was very nice and friendly.

there were no instructions as to how to turn the TV on, the curtains didn't quite reach each other, and the sofa is comfortable but deep so needed a cushion or 2. You could hear every door open and every footstep from the people in the unit above.

Located in Mission Bay it is super handy to a variety of eateries and stores. The beach is an easy walk from the motel. Off-street, free parking a big plus. The owners/managers were absolutely lovely to deal with. The spaces have everything you need for a short stay and are well appointed.

Wasn’t really anything I didn’t like - maybe some more sky options for tv but that’s neither here nor there.

The location is great - a stone’s throw to Kohi beach and shops along the waterfront. Our family suite was perfect for our needs with a separate bedroom with twin beds for our boys. There was a cosy seating area at the front and parking right outside our door at the back.

Nothing to dislike although the bed was a bit soft for my husband but perfectly fine for me.

Location was superb just near the beach and lovely cafes. Despite this location it was very quiet at night. Good little kitchenette. Don't expect modern here...the building is a little dated but very clean and comfortable. In complete fitting with its surroundings and the suburb it is in, great value for money with Parking onsite.

Weather was very bad and that made the second floor dwelling difficult with steep and a little slippery stairs. Weather is completely out of the owner's control though and they did their very best to mitigate the circumstances.

Nice location. Just a stroll down to Kohimarama en dan along to Mission Bay. Super handy that there was a sofa bed, as originally it was intended that two girls would be sharing the double bed, but then one decided to sleep on the fold-out sofa-bed.

Although we had a big space, the bedroom was small. The building is Shannon and should need some refurbishment.
