Check-in was easy, friendly staff. Nice spacious 2 bedrooms and loft on second floor, was perfect for a family. Main bedroom was very spacious, second bedroom just large enough for a queen bed, and the loft was bigger than expected with a queen bed and a single bed. Small bathroom with shower only. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Great view of the ocean, beach just across the road. Pretty quiet, with not much noise from the road or other guests. Would definitely stay again.

Just noticed that the window latches were in need of maintenance as some did not close properly. But otherwise well maintained and tidy place.

The location is wonderful and we loved sitting on the balcony watching the boats. Bucklands Beach is so lovely and relaxing.

It was quite a dated apartment and for the price we were paying we were pleased to get an outstanding view! Which was absolutely beautiful! The design of the motel is very architectural but a bit rough around the edges. The hooks that held the Roman blind ties were falling off the wall, the rubbish bin looked harassed, some aspects were quite dated and the bathroom was very tiny for the amount of beds available in the apartment we were in. We loved the mezzanine and the tv was great. The bathroom was probably the most disappointing aspect. There wasn’t any milk given to us and no little body wash or moisturiser sachets? For the price I think it would be appreciated having those extras. In saying that the beds & bedding were very comfortable and the towels were fluffy and warm.

Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and tidy, great view. The kids liked the pool also. It was a nice break from the city.

The railings are too wide. It concerned me everytime my two year old went on the balcony or up the stairs as he could easily slip through. I think the configuration of rooms needed to be changed so we could be closer together as a family. However, now that I know the layout I will choose ground units next time.

The location was really nice, just across from the beach and walking distance to restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable.

It was a little noisy at times, we could hear someone stomping around above our room, but it soon settled and didn't disturb us too much.

Excellent location, no hassle check-in and out. The facilities were excellent. Location was beautiful, great views and close to food spots . Highly recommended.

Honestly, I have to dig deep to find anything wrong. The driveways are a bit hard to walk on with bare feet take slip-slops when going to swim. The kitchen facilities are minimal.

Great communication. Friendly staff. The unit was very clean!!! Fantastic views. Great deck. Swimming pool although didn't use it. Car parks well marked out.

Car park us a health and safety hazard and needs fixing immediately. My 74 year old Mum struggled. Labour Department wouldn't like it and could close motel if not fixed. Had to pay $15 for cot then had to set up cot and make it ourselves. Never ever had to do that before. If paying for a bed/cot it should be made up on arrival. Only 3 towels on arrival yet paid for 4 people. Wind blow through bathroom window so loud!!. Needs stick on drought seals on windows. Suggestion - Needs some spray and wipe cleaner, so can wipe down surfaces. Noise from above guests at 5am horrible.

Location on the beach front was excellent, close to restaurant and shops. Bed was hugh and comfortable, shower hot and strong. All the little extras you would want, microwave, kettle, toaster and a cook top. Also hugh and I do mean huge tv.

No real downside.

Fantastic location with great room facilities. Just down the road from a store and takeaway shops which makes it easy to buy food and use kitchen facilities in the room. Location of motel is excellent. The pool was closed due to covid restrictions so having the beach opposite us was wonderful! Great wifi too which kept the kids happy!

Double beds were extremely firm as well as the lounge seats. Could definitely use sharper knives. Sport channel was terrible however we were able to stream from our phones to the smart TV.

Really comfortable bed, great semi private deck at the front of the unit with amazing sea views, older style motel, but updated cooking facilities in the kitchen area.

Would highly recommend to anyone. The Manager was fantastic and accommodating. Two groups of friends needed 2 car parks and 2 room keys which was provided to make life easier. Can not fault the service or cleanliness of the room
