Very quaint cottage with every amenity one would need for a comfortable stay. Good location. Easy access to shops and parks. Mostly, great hosts! Olivia and Christian definitely went out of their way to make things easier and more comfortable for us. Thank you!

Not much. Initially, just the parking in the street made it very difficult with a little one and all our luggage. But the hosts accommodated us soon thereafter. The shower head needs a little more pressure for water to run out of all the outlets in the head, but not really something to complain about.

This cottage is very well equipped. It was extremely neat and tidy on arrival. Furniture and fixtures all looked recent. Received a friendly greeting from the host on check-in. This cottage shares a residential lot with the family home of the hosts. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The master bedroom is an open loft that requires ascending a step staircase. It's lovely but you need to be able-bodied.

Resented paying $10/night for parking. This is a residential site that pretty much requires a car. It's not like they had build a special car park. There was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom likely caused by little use of the plumbing in recent days. Disappeared when the sinks, shower and washing machine were run to fill up the traps.

The property has a cosy nautical feel with a lot of quirky statement pieces, I loved the comfy swing sofa chair on the balcony over looking the beautiful garden with the city lights in the background. The property has sensor lights to light your way up to the cottage when returning back late at night. Well equiped kitchen, loved the fact it had a washing machine and dryer/washing line available. Bathroom was immaculate with great products and a twin shower head (handheld and rain) which has great pressure. Lovely and friendly people whom had great recommendations of restaurants and advice on seeing the city.

No negatives at all - things to take into consideration... there is a ladder to climb up to the bed and you will need to climb down to use the bathroom, the single lane one way in and out driveway to get to the parking spot, the street to get into the driveway has many cars parked on one side of the street however was a quiet street with very minimal cars using it and lastly check out is 9:30 - 9:45 am

The cottage was delightful. Really tasteful and quaint and very well equipped. Our hosts and their family were lovely. Breakfast was really good. The location was great with One Tree Hill and the harbour reserve both within walking distance. We didn’t go into Central Auckland but the buses went from the mall (5 minutes walk away) into the centre every 15 minutes. Overall a brilliant place to stay.

Quaint, delightfully furnished, loved the loft, and so super friendly to my dog, Cocoa 💜💙💕 Very comfortable, we walked to the park/gardens nearby several times, and saw the lovely cottages in the neighborhood

Nothing! I had a great place to park and relax, a porch complete with a swing even.

The stairs to the bedroom was more like a ladder. I left the suitcases in the lounge downstairs as I couldnt carry them up. Enroute from Hamilton I got a call from the absentee owner asking for arrival time Said the Daughter would be there, not true. Reminded me about a $40 deep cleaning fee for covid, this was a airbnb condition, thankfully we booked thru booking dot com Feeling guilty now I screemed at the daughter you need to post your fees on the web up front, took me 40 minutes to drill down to find the deep cleaning fee. Dont pay it. My receipt stated price includes all taxes and fees. This experience spoiled an otherwise perfect stay

The stairwell to upstairs room is incredibly steep and dangerous. The area was too cluttered with quaint little pieces of furniture and ornaments/pot plants that just cramped everything up. It is nice re the while cottage quaint thing, but it can be done in a way that does not rob the room of valuable space. The cottage really is too small for 3 people.

Made to feel very welcome, cosy living area, good kitchen and bathroom, easy access to Auckland.

I bumped my head because the attic bedroom had too steep a roof line incline on one side which being the shorter person was my side and the steep stairs mean keeping your suitcases downstairs which if staying a few nights may or not be annoying.

Charming and cosy cottage that was clean and had everything we needed for 2 night stay.

it did not affect us but the ladder to the loft is quite steep and will not suit elderly guests. the loft bedroom itself was gorgeous and bed very comfortable.

Very clean and cozy. The swing on the front porch was a special bonus! The Hosts we very attentive and made sure we were completely comfortable.

The stairs up to the loft were a challenge. Our host had given up fair warning about the stairs going up to the loft sleeping area.
