James and his team are very accommodating and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable especially as our luggage was delayed by 2 days. The motel is on the main bus route into the city, You will need to purchase a AT HOP card for public transport as they dont take card or cash.There is a big shopping centre 10 mins walk.

There are no negatives

A well located, clean and friendly little motel. Easy access and parking outside the room. Good sized accommodation with a balcony outside, comfy bed, decent shower and little kitchen with tea & coffee and bottled water. Staff very friendly, would definitely stay again.

Despite being an older style motel, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location to central city was great with easy access to SH1 north and southbound. We just stayed one night to attend a concert but will definitely stay at Siesta again.

A generous sized studio, very clean unit and comfortable bed and pillows. Linen was crisp and towels soft and absorbent. Cooking facilities extremely clean. Check in and out was very friendly and we were encouraged to ask if their was anything we further required. The little extras like bottled water and sweeties, were a pleasant touch. Great location, close to bus stops.

Whilst recently renovated, some minor wear showing in the shower area. But also very clean.

Did not realise the studio had no sink as part of the kitchette. Found this a complete surprise as first time I had struck this situation.

The attitude of the young receptionist in my initial arrival was very good, plus being a wet afternoon my rooms heater was put on which made a warm room to walk into. This sets up good feeling about the motel. Also motel has easy access to motorway. Also close to Countdown which makes food purchase simple.

The room is set up to watch TV from bed. I like to sit in comfy seat to watch TV but couch not only sits under TV but also too low to ground. Otherwise all the rest of the stay was very comfortable and all amenities were working fine.

Location was great. 2 mins drive to Newmarket Westfield(a huge mall), less than 10 mins drive to city. Staffs were very friendly and helpful especially James. He always greeted us with a smile and ensure that our stay was comfy. Room was huge, bed and pillows were pretty comfy.

The only downfall is the shower area. A tad too small.

The memory pillow was very comfortable. Clean and quiet. The reception was very kind.

The room didn't have bedside drawers to put small items in. The room made some cracking sounds on the wall or the roof at night.

the rooms are really big, comfy bed, nice and warm with the heatpump and great location, I walked to the mall and back both days and it only took ten mins. I love they have snacks available to buy at reception. The free hot chocolate in my room was yummy and the staff looked after my bags after I checked out.

James and his team are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Close to walk to the shops and eateries, bus stop nearby to go into the city. Would recommend staying here if you are travelling through NZ or flying in as quite close to the airport
